Klatt Loses a Big One

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Christian Thiry, Zhivko Sotirov and Martin Bartos have been eliminated. Bartos was all in for 100 chips from under the gun and Ronald Keijzer raised to 4,000 from the cutoff. Christopher Münst called on the button, as did Jean-Noel Thorel from the big blind. The flop came {6-Spades}{4-Clubs}{2-Spades} and Thorel checked, Keijzer bet 7,500 and Thorel was the only caller.

After the {3-Spades} turn, Thorel moved all in and Keijzer quickly folded.

Bartos had turned a straight with {10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}, but Thorel had the flush ready with {8-Spades}{7-Spades} to make the {10-Spades} river a formality.

Pedro Oliveira pushed Jeff Cormier off a big pot by moving in for 40,000 on the {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}{6-Spades}{8-Clubs}{8-Spades} river and the Canadian tank-folded.

Last but not least, Patrick Schuhl bet-called all in for 32,900 out of the big blind on the {10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{7-Spades} flop after a preflop three-bet. Andreas Klatt had pushed with {Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs} for the open-ended straight draw and Schuhl turned over [KcdKh] for the overpair. The {10-Hearts} turn and {4-Diamonds} ruver were blanks and Schuhl doubled.
