Schuhl Wins Massive Pot with Queen-High Only

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Patrick Schuhl
Patrick Schuhl

Thorsten Böhringer was the initial raiser and picked up calls by Andreas Klatt in the cutoff, Pietro Errante on the button, Patrick Schuhl in the small blind and Fahir Han in the big blind. All players checked the flop of {J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} and the {5-Hearts} turn was checked by Schuhl. Han bet 35,000 to force out Böhringer and Klatt. Errante called and Schuhl then moved all in.

Han folded but Errante asked for a count, and the shove of the Frenchman was for 105,500 in total. After staring at the tournament info screen several times, Errante sighed and called. What followed were gasps by everyone at the table.

Patrick Schuhl: {Q-Hearts}{7-Hearts}
Pietro Errante: {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

Both players were on a flush draw and Errante also had a straight draw. The {6-Diamonds} on the river was a blank and Schuhl scored a massive double with just queen-high.
