Jachtmann Jams the Flop

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

Hakim Zoufri has dropped below the average stack and Lukas Zaskodny has taken over a commanding lead at their table, while all other players are fighting for their tournament life.

Vladimir Troyanovskiy raised to 7,000 and was called by Jan-Peter Jachtmann, Toni Vardjavand and Zoufri. The flop came {4-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and action checked to Vardjavand, who bet 12,000. Zoufri called, Troyanovskiy folded and Jachtmann gave it some time consideration before check-raising all in for 37,900. Vardjavand quickly folded while Zoufri did so after asking for a count.

A Big Double for Viard

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 0 ante
Alexandre Viard
Alexandre Viard

Rex Clinkscales doubled his short stack with {K-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{6-Spades} versus {Q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{8-Spades}{7-Spades} after the chips went in on a flop of {Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}, and the {J-Clubs} turn and {J-Diamonds} river gave the American a flush.

After two players limped, Igor Sharaskin raised to 10,000 and Alexandre Viard three-bet the pot to 36,000, which only Sharaskin called. On the flop of {K-Spades}{7-Clubs}{4-Clubs} the stacks went in and Viard was the player at risk with {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} for 55,700. Sharaskin had a big draw with {9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}, but the {J-Hearts} turn and {A-Clubs} river failed to improve the Russian.

Soon after, Sumit Supra was all in at the same table with {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} against the {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} of Rifat Palevic and the board came {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{8-Spades} to five Supra a straight on the river.

Andreas Klatt Eliminated

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 0 ante
Andreas Klatt
Andreas Klatt

A few days ago, Andreas Klatt won Event #2 €550 Pot-Limit Omaha but he won't be adding a second bracelet during the festival, at least for now. Willm Engelke raised to 3,500 and Klatt moved all in for his last 9,000 from the small blind. Once it was back on Engelke, he Quickly called and Klatt asked "Do you have Aces or kings? The way you played so far, I highly doubt that," and Engelke grinned back with a "I have some of everything."

Andreas Klatt: {J-Hearts}{J-Spades}{9-Hearts}{6-Spades}
Willm Engelke: {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}

The flop of {8-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds} gave Engelke a flush draw and Klatt was drawing dead on the {A-Diamonds} turn, making the {5-Clubs} river a formality.

Pedersen Doubles

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

Thomas Pedersen raised to 4,800 from under the gun and the big blind called. Both players checked the {J-Spades}{9-Spades}{7-Diamonds} flop and the big blind check-raised all in after the {Q-Diamonds} turn. Pedersen called all in for his last 15,400 and tabled {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} for the straight and diamond flush draw.

His opponent wanted the board to pair with {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}, but the {10-Spades} river was a blank.

Aaron Duczak and Christopher Back were less fortunate than Pedersen and busted from different tables in quick succession.
