Trett Takes Some From the Leader

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Serghei Lisiy opened under the gun to 13,000 and Daniel Trett called in position before Erkan Sonmez called from the big blind.

The flop came {9-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and Sonmez checked. Lisiy bet 21,000 and Trett called. Sonmez folded.

The turn was the {8-Spades} and Lisiy checked. Trett bet 70,000 and Lisiy folded.

A Double and a Triple Up for Janikova

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Alexandra Janikova was all in and at risk for her last 19,000 with the {A-Hearts}{J-Spades} and Oliver Heidel looked her up with {K-Spades}{10-Spades}. The board came {Q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} and Janikova more than doubled.

The next hand both were involved in a three-way all in with Fadil Isufi and the following cards were tabled.

Fadil Isufi: {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs}

Isufi had the best hand and both players covered, but the board came {9-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{10-Hearts} to give Janikova a flush and triple up for 52,000. Isufi won the bigger side pot to elimin ate Heidel while Janikova jumped back into contention.

One table over, Sefa Terzi handed over his stack to Albert Hoekendijk after having just doubled through the Dutchman.

Terzi Doubles Through Hoekendijk

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Frank de Busscher raised to 13,000 from late position and Sefa Terzi moved all in for 79,000 from one seat over in the hijack. Albert Hoekendijk called on the button and de Busscher folded {A-Hearts}{6-Hearts} face up.

The board came {10-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{4-Spades}{K-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} and Terzi paired his king on the turn to double. "You would double anyways, because I call," de Busscher said after all was done and dusted.

Heidl Doubles Through Dedusha

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Jurgen Heidl raised to 13,000 and a player called on the button. Artan Dedusha went all in and Heidl called for less with {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} versus the {a-Clubs}{8-Spades} of Dedusha.

"You know I'm going to win," Dedusha said. "Seat open!" Dedusha called out as the board ran out.

Dedusha didn't end up winning when the board ran out {j-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts}.

Lisiy Leaves Langrock Short

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Picking up the action on the {J-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} flop, Serghei Lisiy in the big blind and Sebastian Langrock on the button checked. The {2-Clubs} appeared on the turn and Lisiy checked, Langrock bet 6,000 and called a check-raise to 21,000 by Lisiy.

The {8-Hearts} on the river brought a bet of 33,000 by Lisiy and Langrock eventually called, then mucked when being shown {10-Spades}{8-Spades} by Lisiy.

Luske Among Next Casualties

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

The next table broke and Marcel Luske was among those to run out of chips, sending his stack over to Artan Dedusha. Pavel Svach and Robert Auer had busted before the break and they were soon joined by Liraz Weiman as well.

Weiman got it in with {Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} against the {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs} of Erkan Sonmez and the board came {A-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}.

"You Have to Snap Something"

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Radek Castka opened to 15,000 from early position and Artan Dedusha called on the button. Waldemar Kopyl three-bet to 63,000 and Castka asked for a brief count, then moved all in. Dedusha folded and so did Kopyl in an instant. "You snap-folded, I would have snap-moved all in if he didn't do it," Dedusha said to Kopyl and Marcel Luske replied with a dry "you have to snap something, you are a snapper," causing giggles at the table.

Vranken Takes a Big Hit

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

On the flop of {7-Spades}{6-Spades}{6-Hearts}, four players including Jacek Skiscim and Antoine Vranken in the big blind checked. Things then escalated on the {K-Diamonds} turn and Skiscim as well as Vranken went to war with the former all in and at risk.

Both players had flopped trips sixes and Skiscim had the better kicker, he even improved to a full house with the {A-Spades} river and celebrated the double with a friend from Poland on the rail.
