Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Thomas Hofmann raised to 20,000 on the button and called the shove of Gary Fisher for some 100,000 very quickly to put the Brit at risk.

Gary Fisher: {K-Spades}{Q-Clubs}
Thomas Hofmann: {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}

The board came {K-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{10-Spades}{2-Clubs}{Q-Spades} and Fisher doubled, but remains well above the average.

Duczak Crashes Out

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Oleh Haisiuk raised and called a big three-bet by Aaron Duczak to see a flop of {J-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs}. Duczak bet 60,000 and Haisiuk shoved for 70,000 more to see Duczak call it off and turn over {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}. Haisiuk turned over {J-Spades}{10-Spades} and the {6-Diamonds} turn and {3-Hearts} river left Duczak in shambles.

One hand later, he was all in for just 11,000 and picked up calls by Uri Reichenstein in then small blind and Lukas Soucek in the big blind. The flop came {A-Spades}{8-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and Reichenstein#s bet of 10,000 forced a fold from Soucek. Duczak showed {J-Spades}{7-Spades} and Reichenstein turned over {10-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for a pair of treys.

The {5-Diamonds} turn and {Q-Clubs} river were blanks and Duczak was eliminated. Soon after, the empty seat was filled by Erkan Sonmez, who had his kings cracked by pocket fours to drop some chips.

Spets Gets Busted

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Age Spets was heads and shoved all in on the river. The board read {5-}{3-}{2-}{2-}{j-} and Martin Mulsow took a moment before calling.

Spets showed {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} for ace high and Mulsow called with {a-Spades}{2-Spades}, for trip deuces.

Spets was eliminated.

"The only hand that can call me," Spets said as he collected his things and headed to the rail.

"And ace-four," Mulsow responded.

While he was debating his decision he wasn't sure if ace-four was the hand Spets had. He was happy to see that wasn't the case and win the pot to stack 300,000 chips.

Langrock Gets Flushed Away

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Sebastian Langrock
Sebastian Langrock

Chun Ho Law raised from early position and called the shove of short stack Sebastian Langrock from one seat over.

Sebastian Langrock: {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}
Chun Ho Law: {A-Clubs}{5-Clubs}

The flop of {J-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs} was a big sweat for Ho Law, who picked up a gutshot straight flush draw. The {9-Clubs} on the turn left Langrock drawing dead, making the {J-Clubs} river a formality.
