Kabrhel Doubles Through Petrangelo

Level 19 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante

Nick Petrangelo shoved in the small blind, putting Martin Kabrhel at risk for 1,310,000.

"Hippo says it's time," Kabrhel mused after some thought. "You have any two here, yeah?"

"Close," Petrangelo said. "Slowroll? I feel like you're going to slowroll me one of these days."

"You are not nice to me, but no slowroll."

"I'm nice. I just want a fair game," Petrangelo said, referencing his clock calls.

Kabrhel continued to think about another minute until someone called a clock. Kabrhel called and revealed {a-Spades}{4-Diamonds}. Petrangelo had live cards: {6-Hearts}{5-Clubs}.

"Sometimes, you have to gamble," Kabrhel said. "But now I have aces."

He was wrong as {2-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{8-Clubs} paired neither player. However, the {a-Clubs} turn delivered what he foretold. He still needed to dodge clubs and the river was a {q-Hearts}.

Pollak Busts Two Players; All Players in the Money

Level 19 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante
Benjamin Pollak
Benjamin Pollak

Bartlomiej Machon raised to 120,000 from the hijack and, for the second hand in-a-row, Jean-Noel Thorel moved all in for 1,790,000. Benjamin Pollak was in the small blind and he just called. The big blind folded and action was back on Machon who moved all-in for 3,300,000 himself and Pollak snap-called.

Bartlomiej Machon: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}
Jean-Noel Thorel: {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}
Benjamin Pollak: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}

The flop came {a-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{3-Hearts} giving Pollak top set. The turn was the {10-Clubs}, and with no players holding a club both Thorel and Machon were drawing dead, and the river was the {j-Clubs}.

The double elimination brought the number of players remaining to 17, negating the need for hand-for-hand play with all remaining players guaranteed €38,060.

Loosli Doubles Through Schemion

Level 19 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante

Ole Schemion raised to 260,000 and Sylvain Loosli three-bet all in for 1,820,000. Schemion called.

Ole Schemion: {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}
Sylvain Loosli: {a-Spades}{9-Spades}

There was a nine in the window of a {9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} flop. The turn was the {q-Clubs} and the river the {5-Spades} meaning Loosli doubled up as the players were redrawing around two tables.

Philipp Gruissem Eliminated in 17th Place (€38,060)

Level 19 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante
Phillip Gruissem
Phillip Gruissem

Philipp Gruissem appeared to have jammed over a button raise from Antoine Saout when we got to their table, with Saout putting him at risk with {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}. Gruissem had about 1.6 million and {q-Spades}{10-Hearts} on the felt, and the {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}{3-Clubs} was no help. The {9-Diamonds} gave him some outs but the river was a {4-Spades}.
