Zukernik Busts Dirlewanger

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Leandro Dirlewanger moved all in for 11,500 and Philipp Zukernik called out of the small blind. Aleksandar Denishev in the big blind mucked the {A-Spades}{2-Spades} face up and both players turned over an ace in the showdown.

Leandro Dirlewanger: {A-Hearts}{3-Clubs}
Philipp Zukernik: {A-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

The board came {Q-Hearts}{6-Spades}{2-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{5-Spades} and Dirlewanger was left drawing dead on the turn to join the rail.

Kaneoya Reduced to a Miracle

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Michael Soyza caught jet lag after just getting to Rozvadov the other day and busted right before the money last night in flight 1B.

"I just woke up man, it's brutal," he added and entered Day 1D in level nine.

In the meanwhile, Renato Kaneoya is in need of a miracle after dropping to a mere five big blinds. He lost a flip for 27,200 with {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades} against the {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} of Tomas Petru, who got there on the turn of a board {7-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{A-Clubs}{9-Spades}.

Lubas Sends Camarda to the Rail

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Salvatore Camarda
Salvatore Camarda

Salvatore Camarda moved all in for the last 8,800 in the cutoff and Michal Lubas called on the button, as did Sandor Ambrus in the big blind. Both remaining active players checked down the board {J-Spades}{9-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}. Camarda flashed {A-Hearts}{6-Clubs}, Lubas had the better kicker with {A-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and Ambrus could not beat either hand.

Segal Takes From Dumitrache

Level 8 : 400/800, 800 ante

Since being moved tables, Tamir Segal has increased his stack significantly and remains near the very top of the leader board in the mid stages of Day 1D. Just now, Segal defended his big blind against the button raise of Silviu Dumitrache and check-called a bet on the {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{5-Clubs} flop. On the {3-Clubs} turn, Segal checked and called a bet of 3,000.

The {A-Spades} on the river paired the board and Segal led for 12,000, which Dumitrache called. Segal turned over {Q-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} for the second nut flush and that won the pot.

Two Bullets Done for Deeb

Level 8 : 400/800, 800 ante

Shaun Deeb and Roland Israelashvili met next to the registration desk, but for Day 1D they don't have anything in common just yet. Deeb was talking with tournament staff after having busted for the second time while Israelashvili was waiting for a seat assignment for his first bullet on this flight. Not long ago, Israelashvili had cashed in Day 1C and will give it another try to make Day 2.
