Tach Taken Out

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

Farukh Tach has just been eliminated by Martin Theil and was kind enough to relate what had happened:

"I doubled him up earlier today. He opened to 500 from the button and I three-bet to 1,800. He four-bet to 11,000 and I shoved. He called with {6-}{6-} and I held {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}. The flop came {a-}{6-}{5-} and his set held to double him up."

"And just now, he opened to 1,100 from the button, I three-bet to 3,600, he shoved and I called for around 16,000. I had {a-Hearts}{k-} again, now he had {7-}{7-}. The flop was {10-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{8-Hearts} to give me the flush draw. The turn was the {j-} to add a straight draw to my outs. The river was {3-}, brick, and game over."

Level 6 : 300/500, 500 ante

With 4,200 in the middle, the flop read {2-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}.

Balasz Toth: {7-Spades}{4-Spades}
Marc Anthony Joseph: {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}

Toth had flopped a pair of fours and Joseph was holding a flush draw.

The rest of the board was completed with the {j-Clubs} on the turn to give Joseph the flush, for Toth to be drawing dead, and the {9-Spades} on the river.
