Kubis Goes Runner-Runner

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

The action folded to Aksel Ayguen in the small blind who raised it up to 115,000. Marian Kubis called from the big blind and the flop came {8-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{4-Clubs}. Ayguen led out for 110,000 and Kubis called to see the {a-Diamonds} on the turn.

Ayguen fired another 205,000 but couldn't shake Kubis as he stuck around for the {3-Diamonds} on the river. Ayguen dropped in a bet of 100,000 only to have Kubis raise to 550,000. Ayguen groaned in despair but still made the call. Kubis turned over {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} for a flush and Ayguen mucked his cards.

Eyal Bensimhon: {k-Clubs}{7-Clubs}

The board ran out {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}{10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} for Neurauter to flop two pair and improve to a full house on the river to double up.

Jakovljevic Saves His Stack

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Dejan Jakovljevic opened to 120,000 in the cutoff and was called by Marian Kubis in the small blind. The two players saw a flop of {j-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{2-Spades} and Kubis checked to Jakovljevic who continued for 110,000. Kubis just called and the {4-Hearts} landed on the turn.

Kubis checked again and Jakovljevic checked back. The {5-Spades} completed the board and Kubis slid in a bet of 335,000. Jakovljevic snap-called and Kubis rolled over {a-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for the nuts. Jakovljevic threw his {2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} into the middle of the table after flopping a set but is still alive with just under 400,000.

"Wow! Where is the rest of the pot?" Allen Kessler asked after seeing the two monster hands.

"I didn't want to gamble on the flop," Kubis replied.

Yankov Continues to Roll

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Krasimir Yankov opened to 85,000 from early position and was called by Mick Heder on the button. Andreas Hafner shipped all in for 355,000 from the small blind and Yankov re-shoved all in over the top. Heder quickly got out of the way and Hafner was pleased with his position.

Krasimir Yankov: {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}
Andreas Hafner: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

The flop fell {a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} as Yankov picked up an open-ended straight draw. "Four of diamonds!" Yankov cheered for but the dealer did even better as the {6-Clubs} landed on the turn. Yankov's straight left Hafner drawing dead to the {5-Spades} on the river, pushing Yankov's stack over 3.5 million chips.
