Pavlyuchuk Flops the Nuts

Level 32 : 100,000/200,000, 0 ante

It's been all about Oleg Pavlyuchuk and the Latvian flopped another monster from the small blind with {A-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{2-Hearts} when the flop came {3-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{10-Hearts}. Pavlyuchuk had opened to 600,000 and Hanh Tran called from the big blind with {10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{X-}. Tran called a bet of 500,000 on the flop with his top two pair.

Both players checked the {7-Diamonds} on the turn. Pavlyuchuk tried to get 1,700,000 in value with the nuts but Tran wasn't buying it and folded.

Pavlyuchuk Wins It Right Back, And More

Level 32 : 100,000/200,000, 0 ante
Oleg Pavlyuchuk

Just like that, Oleg Pavlyuchuk has reclaimed the lead from Romain Lewis again and relegated the Frenchman to the short stack. Lewis raised to 400,000 on the button with {K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{7-Spades}, Pavlyuchuk three-bet to 1,400,000 from the small blind with {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}{6-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and Lewis called after some thought.

The flop came down {A-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and Pavlyuchuk shoved his final 1,290,000, which Lewis called. Lewis caught the {10-Diamonds} on the turn to complete his flush, but the {10-Spades} on the river paired the board to give the Latvian the winner. Pavlyuchuk made a flying motion with his arms and darted around the feature table in celebration.

Lewis Takes the Lead

Level 32 : 100,000/200,000, 0 ante

Romain Lewis

Romain Lewis was the shortest stack not long ago, but the French pro has been able to turn it around on short notice and now holds the chip lead. With three-way action on a {6-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} board and 1,400,000 in the pot, it was Lewis who bet the pot with {A-Clubs}{10-Spades}{7-Spades}{5-Clubs}.

Pavlyuchuk called with {9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{X-} (fourth card not shown) and Hanh Tran folded {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{8-Spades}. The {2-Spades} river went check-check and Lewis was best with two pair.

With 940,000 left, Sebastian Obermeier raised pot from the small blind, Romain Lewis three-bet all in from the big blind and Obermeier called.

Sebastian Obermeier: {Q-Clubs}{9-Spades}{8-Hearts}{4-Clubs}
Romain Lewis: {Q-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}

The dealer fanned out {A-Spades}{J-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{Q-Spades} to give Lewis a straight and decide Obermeier's fate. The German bowed out in fourth place and went off to collect €17,905 in prize money.

Lewis Doubles Through Obermeier

Level 31 : 80,000/160,000, 0 ante

Romain Lewis raised himself committed first to act with {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}, Sebastian Obermeier three-bet shoved {K-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{10-Spades}{8-Clubs} from the big blind and Lewis called all in for around 1,200,000.

The board ran out {Q-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{J-Clubs} and after getting outflopped, Lewis caught the nut straight on the river to save his tournament life.

Pavlyuchuk Doubles Through Tran

Level 31 : 80,000/160,000, 0 ante
Oleg Pavlyuchuk
Oleg Pavlyuchuk

Oleg Pavlyuchuk limped in on the button with {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Spades}{5-Clubs}, Hanh Tran found aces again and raised to 600,000 from the small blind with {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}. Pavlyuchuk called for around one-third of his stack.

The flop was {7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{J-Clubs} and Tran potted it, which was followed by a Hellmuth-esque call from Pavlyuchuk, who doubled up after the {q-Diamonds} turn and {6-Hearts} river to take the lead.

Not Everyone Loves A Chop Pot

Level 31 : 80,000/160,000, 0 ante

Another three aces were dealt, this time to Hanh Tran who raised it up to 540,000 with {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}. Romain Lewis found {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}{J-Spades}{9-Clubs} in the small blind and called to see a flop, which was very favorable to him when he flopped Broadway on {K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{10-Spades}.

Lewis front-shoved for 1,170,000 and Tran, while visibly unpleased, called it off with the worst of it. The turn was the {Q-Diamonds} Tran needed to make it a chop pot and the {7-Spades} river completed the board.
