Pilkington Picks Castro Off

Level 6 : 300/500, 500 ante

The board read {5-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{2-Spades}{9-Clubs} with around 31,000 in the middle already.

Raffaele Castro had checked from mid-position and Jessica Pilkington had shoved on the button for 14,700. Castro tanked for a while and called in the end with {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} for the pair of aces with the ten-kicker but was beaten by Pilkington with {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts} for the same pair but higher kicker. After counting Castro's stack, the dealer determined he had 14,000 in total so he was eliminated for now.
