Two Barrels Do the Trick for Thomas

Level 22 : 500,000/1,000,000, 1,000,000 ante

Julian Thomas raised it up to 2,000,000 first to act with the {9-Clubs}{9-Spades} and Martin Kabrhel defended {7-Spades}{6-Hearts} in the big blind. The flop came {5-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Spades} and Kabrhel quickly checked with one finger. Thomas continued for 3,500,000 and Kabrhel called, the {J-Diamonds} appeared on the turn.

Kabrhel gave it some consideration and checked, prompting a bet of 9,000,000 into a pot of 11,500,000 by Thomas. Kabrhel carefully checked his remaining stack and

Schwippert Counterfeited to Miss Out on Double

Level 22 : 500,000/1,000,000, 1,000,000 ante

It folded to David Peters in the small blind who jammed on short stack Jan-Eric Schwippert in the big blind. Schwippert called.

David Peters: {j-Clubs}{4-Clubs}
Jan-Eric Schwippert: {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

The flop {10-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} gave Schwippert a pair, but he was counterfeited on the {j-Hearts} turn and the {2-Clubs} river ensured that the pair chopped the pot.

Peters Applies Maximum Pressure; Jams Into Nitsche

Level 21 : 400,000/800,000, 800,000 ante

David Peters raised to 1,600,000 with the {7-Spades}{6-Spades} in the hijack and Dominik Nitsche three-bet to 5,400,000 in the big blind with the {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}. Peters gave it some thought and called to see the {A-Spades}{10-Spades}{8-Diamonds} flop, giving Peters a gutshot and flushdraw. Nitsche cut out a continuation bet of 3.500,000 into a pot of 12,000,000 and Peters pulled the trigger, moving all in.

Nitsche gave it some thought with the nutflush blocker and eventually folded after a minute of consideration.
