Glaser Sends Campbell to the Rail

Level 15 : 20,000/40,000, 60,000 ante

Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better

The action was complete and Robert Campbell had all of his chips in the middle. He was up against Benny Glaser and wouldn't like the result once the cards were all tabled.

Benny Glaser: {k-Spades}{10-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} / {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}
Robert Campbell: {8-Spades}{j-Hearts}{k-Spades}{q-Spades} / {a-}{2-}{2-}

Campbell had ace-deuce in the hole against Glaser's tens. However, Glaser picked up a ten on his board to improve to trips and Campbell was unable to improve his hand.

Negreanu Instigates Another Hellmuth Blowup

Level 15 : 20,000/40,000, 60,000 ante
Phil Hellmuth
Phil Hellmuth

Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better

Daniel Negreanu raised it up from the cutoff and Phil Hellmuth nearly beat him in the pot from the button. The two players saw a flop of {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{8-Spades} and Negreanu continued with a bet. Hellmuth called and the {7-Clubs} landed on the turn.

Negreanu checked this time and Hellmuth quickly bet. Negreanu thought for a moment before making the call. The {a-Diamonds} completed the board and both players checked. Negreanu showed {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for two pair and Hellmuth rose from his seat after taking a beat. Hellmuth turned over {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} and the blowup ensued.

"What the fuck?! I've got you drawing dead to the high and low," Hellmuth muttered. "Let me look at these cards again. You know you're not supposed to call," Hellmuth iterated to Negreanu.

Negreanu responded by pulling out his phone and catching some of the Hellmuth rant. "This is what happens when you play a hand completely normal and Phil loses."

Danzer Eliminated by Becker

George Danzer
George Danzer

Seven Card Stud

George Danzer: {9-Spades}{3-Hearts} / {7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} / {x-}
Johannes Becker: {k-Spades}{2-Clubs} / {7-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} / {x-}
Roland Israelashvili: {x-}{x-} / {9-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{10-Hearts} fold

George Danzer had lost the vast majority of his short stack against James Chen just prior and was then all in for very few chips in a three-way Seven Card Stud hand.

Fourth street was checked and Johannes Becker bet fifth, Roland Israelashvili folded. Becker had a pair of kings until sixth and received the {q-Diamonds} as final card, which gave Danzer some outs with his pair of deuces. He squeezed the final card and it was the blank {6-Clubs} to bow out.

Kessler Eliminated by Hot

Allen Kessler

Limit Hold'em

"That's a fair fight," Allen Kessler said when he was all in for the last 260,000 and had a flip with {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs} against the {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} of Besim Hot.

The flop brought {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{5-Hearts} to give Kessler a flush draw on top while Hot added an open-ender to his pair. Nothing changed with the {3-Hearts} turn and the {9-Hearts} river spelled the end for Kessler, as Hot raked in the pot with a nine-high straight.

Hot Continues to Chip Up

Level 15 : 20,000/40,000, 60,000 ante

Limit Hold'em

With around 500,000 in the middle already, the dealer spread the flop of {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{8-Spades}. Robert Campbell started with a check from the small blind and Besim Hot tossed in a bet from the big blind. Dzmitry Urbanovich re-raised and Campbell called. Hot three-bet and Urbanovich capped it with a four-bet. Campbell still called as did Hot.

On the {7-Diamonds} turn, Campbell checked and Hot fired out a bet. Urbanovich and Campbell just called this time. The river was the {5-Spades} and Campbell checked again. Hot bet once more and both Urbanovich and Campbell folded this time.

Level 15 : 20,000/40,000, 60,000 ante

Razz

Alex Livingston: {x-}{x-} / {3-}{j-}{a-}{7-} / {x-}
Julien Martini: {x-}{x-} / {2-}{q-}{7-}{10-} / {x-}

Picking up the action on fifth street, Alex Livingston had the betting lead and made use of it with a bet. Julien Martini called and the action was the same on sixth.

On seventh, Livingston checked blind and Martini tossed in a bet after peeling his card. Livingston instantly called and turned over {9-}{7-}{4-} like he already knew he was ahead with a nine. Martini just mucked and Livingston scooped the pot.
