Lenart's Top Pair Takes Out Zijthof

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Kristof Lenart and Floor Zijthof were heads-up in a pot with just under 300,000 in the middle. The flop came {j-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and Lenart checked from early position. Zijthof tossed in a bet of 140,000 and Lenart check-raised all in. Zijthof had exactly 400,000 chips remaining and made the call.

Kristof Lenart: {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
Floor Zijthof: {a-Spades}{8-Spades}

The turn was the {q-Spades} to give Zijthof a flush draw as well but the {4-Clubs} bricked off on the river. Zijthof was eliminated and Lenart stacked up another pot.

Unlucky Popovic Hits the Rail

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

The board was reading {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and Teodor Popovic had shoved from the small blind, while Yannick Werner was in middle position and tanking. He finally made the call with {a-Clubs}{10-Spades} with Popovic opening {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} with a lead in the hand.

The {10-Clubs} was decisive for the hand as Werner made trips and Popovic left his seat after the {k-Spades} on the river.

"You Read the Future"

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

There were around ten seconds remaining in the clock and the dealer at Shaun Deeb's table said that play stops for the break, but Deeb told him that there was still time for one more hand. The floor manager came over at the table and informed the dealer that since the break hasn't started yet, he should deal one more hand.

This hand was opened by Christian Mohr to 125,000 with Deeb calling from middle position, Daniel Salner on his left and Torsten Rink from the big blind.

The flop came {a-Spades}{8-Hearts}{2-Clubs} and Mohr bet 155,000 with only Deeb calling him.

The turn was the {q-Clubs} and this time Mohr bet 175,000, getting another call from Deeb.

The {k-Spades} on the river completed the board and Mohr put out a third barrel, for 215,000. Deeb struggled but eventually called and showed {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts} which was enough against Mohr's {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}.

In a short discussion between Deeb and the dealer while he was raking the pot, the dealer told him "you read the future" based on his persistence for one more hand.
