Goeschel Doubles Through Wieckenberg

Level 5 : 400/800, 800 ante

The board read {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{k-Clubs}{j-Spades}{7-Spades} with 32,000 in the middle already.

Marc Goeschel had shoved from the big blind for 23,200 and Jan Wieckenberg was considering what to do from the early position. The dealer revealed Wieckenberg had {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs} for two pair.

Soto Hurts Niste

Level 6 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Kirill Denisenko opened to 2,200 under the gun and Marc Foggin three-bet to 6,800 next to him, called by Jorge Soto. It folded to Mihai Niste who four-bet to 26,000 in the big blind and after some tanking, only Soto called.

The flop showed {9-Spades}{j-Spades}{8-Clubs} and Niste moved all in for a remaining stack around 100,000. Soto snap-called with a slightly higher to create the following showdown:

Mihai Niste: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Jorge Soto: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

Niste was in bad shape to double up and found no help throughout the {j-Hearts} turn and {4-Diamonds} river to be eliminated from the tournament.
