Ezekiel Busts, Generalov Sweats

Level 18 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Seven spots before the money, Daniel Ezekiel got it in for 153,000 with {6-Hearts}{6-Spades} against Yi Ye's {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}. The board fell {q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{2-Spades} to pair up Ye and send Ezekiel to the rail.

Meanwhile, Konstantin Generalov was facing a big sweat, being all in for 328,000 on a {q-Clubs}{8-Spades}{5-Clubs} board holding {a-Spades}{5-Diamonds}. Three-time bracelet winner Asi Moshe had {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} but bricked on the {4-Hearts} turn and {j-Hearts} river to give the pot to the visibly relieved Russian.

Percic With the Smaller Pair; Hui, Cajelais Also Gone

Level 18 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Shahar Levi
Shahar Levi

In a blind versus blind battle, Shahar Levi was all in for 328,000 and Darko Percic called all in for slightly less.

Darko Percic: {4-Spades}{4-Clubs}
Shahar Levi: {6-Hearts}{6-Spades}

The board ran out {k-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{3-Spades}{3-Diamonds} to deny Percic a min-cash. He was joined on the rail by Phil Hui, Erik Cajelais and Eyal Bensimhon, who all missed out on the money as well.

The field is now seven away from the money.

Lampropulos Stuns Deeb With Set over Set

Level 17 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Shaun Deeb
Shaun Deeb

An early shocker over at Maria Lampropulos' and Shaun Deeb's table ended in the latter hitting the rail shortly after a brutal setup. On a {q-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs} flop, Deeb check-called 20,000 after being the preflop raiser.

On the {3-Spades} turn, Deeb checked, Lampropulos bet 95,000, Deeb check-raised to 265,000, Lampropulos shoved all in for around 600,000 and Deeb called.

Maria Lampropulos: {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}
Shaun Deeb: {7-}{7-}

Deeb had just one out but the river was the {8-Diamonds} instead to give Lampropulos quads. Left short, Deeb busted shortly after.

Eckl Busts in Massive Pot

Level 17 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

At Allen Kessler's and Walter Treccarichi's table, a massive pot was played right off the bat that ended with all of Tobias Eckl's chips being sucked into the already massive stack of Muhamedsejdi Ramadani.

According to Kessler, Eckl had four-bet small preflop and called off a push from Ramadani with {a-}{k-}. Ramadani had {a-}{a-} and held up to soar to the chip lead.
