Levi and Bak in a Hand

Level 28 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Shahar Levi raised to 400,000 from the early position and was called by Andrew Bak in the cutoff while the rest of the table folded.

The flop came {a-Spades}{2-Spades}{q-Hearts}, Levi took a few seconds and continued with a bet of 300,000 which was enough for Bak to let his hand go.

Level 28 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

With less than three minutes to go before the break, the players at the final table have agreed to pause a few minutes earlier before kicking off the final table. They'll be back in about 15 minutes.

Apostolos Chatzopoulos
Apostolos Chatzopoulos

Apostolos Chatzopoulos shipped it in for 2,670,000 on the button. Andrew Bak asked for a count before calling it off in the big blind.

Apostolos Chatzopoulos: {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}
Andrew Bak: {a-Clubs}{10-Spades}

The flip landed in Bak's favor as the board ran out {10-Hearts}{j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} to counterfeit the Greek's sixes. The nine remaining players will now combine for the unofficial final table.

Rainer Heneka
Rainer Heneka

Shahar Levi has been steamrolling the table, putting pressure on everyone and didn't change this tactic as he raised from the small blind to put Rainer Heneka in the big blind all-in who made the call for his last 700,000 or so.

Rainer Heneka: {7-Hearts}{5-Spades}
Shahar Levi: {k-Spades}{4-Spades}

The board ran out {a-Spades}{4-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{10-Spades} for Levi to flop two pair and hold throughout to eliminate Heneka in 11th place for €9,248.

Bak Binks a Big One

Level 28 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Andrew Bak completed the small blind and Vangelis Kaimakamis opted to check in the big blind.

They both checked through the {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} flop to the {10-Diamonds} on the turn. Bak bet 450,000 which Kaimakamis called.

The river completed the board with the {5-Spades} and now Bak barreled a bet of 1,500,000 over the line. Kaimakamis tanked for a while and then made the call but mucked as Bak held {k-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} for the nut-flush.

Nitin Jain Eliminated in 12th Place (€9,248)

Level 28 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Nitin Jain

Mere seconds after Mykhailo Gutyi moved in on the other table, Didier Rabl and Nitin Jain got their stacks in the middle in a blind-on-blind war, with the latter at risk for a massive pot.

Nitin Jain: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Didier Rabl: {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

Jain was ahead but the {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop was dreadful for him, leaving him with just the case ten. It remained in the deck on the {5-Clubs} turn and {a-Hearts} river and the Indian was eliminated in 12th place.

Mykhailo Gutyi Eliminated in 13th Place (€7,335)

Level 28 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Mykhailo Gutyi
Mykhailo Gutyi

Mykhailo Gutyi shoved 2,300,000 from middle position and Luigi Macaluso looked him up from the small blind.

Mykhailo Gutyi: {j-Spades}{10-Spades}
Luigi Macaluso: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

The {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop brought a set for Macaluso but Gutyi had outs with a straight draw. He picked up a flush draw on the {6-Spades} turn but bricked the {5-Diamonds} river. With that, last year's WSOPE bracelet winner was gone in 13th place.

Rivas Gets Value

Level 28 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

With the board reading {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{k-Clubs}, Vangelis Kaimakamis and Nitin Jain checked to Jose Rivas on the button, who bet 300,000. Kaimakamis check-called and Jain folded.

On the {3-Hearts} river, Rivas bet 840,000 and Kaimakamis flicked in a calling chip after some thought. Rivas showed him {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} and Kaimakamis couldn't beat that.
