Heneka Doubles Through Levi

Level 28 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Shahar Levi raised to 320,000 from under the gun after having raised from every position possible already and Rainer Heneka shoved for 710,000 in the hijack. Luigi Macaluso asked for a count and then folded after looking at Levi. Levi snap-called.

Rainer Heneka: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Shahar Levi: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

The board ran out {7-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{4-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} for Heneka to hold and double up.

Levi Keeps the Pressure On

Level 28 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Leonid Yanovski limped in on the button and Shahar Levi raised to 625,000 from the big blind. Yanovski shook his head and made the call.

They both checked through the {9-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop and the {8-Diamonds} on the turn to the {6-Spades} on the river. Levi bet 525,000 and Yanovski didn't believe him and made the call. Levi tabled {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} and that was enough for Yanovski to muck his hand.

Bak Cooks Up Something Different

Level 27 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Andrew Bak raised to 250,000 from middle position, Vangelis Kaimakamis called in the cutoff and Nitin Jain called from the small blind. The flop was {3-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Spades} and both Jain and Bak checked to Kaimakamis who bet 365,000.

Jain check-raised to 850,000 but Bak, the preflop raiser, had cooked up a different plan. He cut out a flop three-bet to 2,000,000 straight, getting rid of Kaimakamis. Jain gave it quite some thought before committing the extra chips.

The turn brought another {3-Hearts} and Jain checked. Bak bet 2,200,000 and Jain, visibly unpleased, folded after several minutes of thought.

Jeff Lisandro Eliminated in 14th Place (€7,335)

Jeff Lisandro raised to 310,000 from under the gun and Shahar Levi, covering everyone, moved all in on the button. Lisandro quickly called it off for 2,530,000 total.

Jeff Lisandro: {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}
Shahar Levi: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

"I'm not lucky against ace-king," the Aussie said as if he had a premonition about what was going to happen. The board indeed ran out bad for him with {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades}{7-Hearts} and he bowed out in 14th place.

Shahar Levi raised from the button and Moritz Koelsch shoved from the small blind. Markus Jordan reluctantly folded while Levi quickly called.

Moritz Koelsch: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Shahar Levi: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

The flop came {3-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{2-Hearts} which kept Koelsch ahead.

"No!" Koelsch exclaimed when the {7-Hearts} came on the turn to give Levi a flush draw.

The river completed the board with the {3-Hearts} to give Levi the flush indeed to eliminate Koelsch in 15th place for €5,913.

Vangelis Kaimakamis raised to 250,000 from middle position and Renat Bohdanov three-bet shoved 2,105,000 on the button. Kaimakamis took about thirty seconds before sliding in a call.

Renat Bohdanov: {k-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Vangelis Kaimakamis: {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

There would be no second bracelet yet for Bohdanov this series as the {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{9-Clubs} board failed to provide him with any help.

Level 27 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Gerardo Giammugnani opened to 250,000 and Apostolos Chatzopoulos three-bet all in for 1,360,000 behind him. Giammugnani paid it off to put Chatzopoulos at risk.

Apostolos Chatzopoulos: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Gerardo Giammugnani: {3-Clubs}{3-Hearts}

The Greek stayed alive on a {a-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{10-Clubs} board for a timely double-up.
