Small Pots for Vogelsang

Level 19 : 500,000/1,000,000, 1,000,000 ante

James Chen made it 2,500,000 on the button with {j-Spades}{10-Diamonds} but Christoph Vogelsang made it 6,100,000 in the small blind with {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}. Chin Wei Lim folded his big blind and Chen gave it some thought but made a good fold.

In the next hand, Vogelsang raised to 2,200,000 on the button with {q-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and Cary Katz defended his big blind with {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}. The flop came {7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{2-Spades} and both players checked to the {3-Diamonds} on the turn.

Katz checked again and Vogelsang fired out a bet of 2,500,000 with a straight draw and Katz instantly folded.

Chen Back in the Driver's Seat

Level 19 : 500,000/1,000,000, 1,000,000 ante

James Chen bumped it up to 2,500,000 in the hijack with {5-Spades}{4-Spades} and Christoph Vogelsang just flat-called in the cutoff with {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}. The flop came {j-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} to give Chen the lead with a pair of fives.

Both players checked to the {5-Diamonds} on the turn and Chen counted out a bet of 2,500,000. Vogelsang looked back at his cards and slid them to the muck, handing over the chip lead to Chen.

Rough Start for Nitsche

Level 19 : 500,000/1,000,000, 1,000,000 ante

James Chen came in as the short stack and shipped all in for 12,600,000 from under the gun. The action folded to Dominik Nitsche in the big blind who quickly called to put Chen at risk.

James Chen: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Dominik Nitsche: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

It was the same situation for Nitsche and once again he was up against it on the {k-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop. The {8-Hearts} on the turn left Nitsche drawing dead to the {3-Spades} on the river.

Early Double for Vogelsang

Level 19 : 500,000/1,000,000, 1,000,000 ante

Dominik Nitsche opened to 2,000,000 in middle position and Christoph Vogelsang three-bet shoved all in for 13,800,000 in the cutoff. The action folded back to Nitsche who quickly made the call.

Christoph Vogelsang: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Dominik Nitsche: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}

The flop came {10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and Vogelsang was still out front with the pocket kings. The {2-Diamonds} on the turn narrowed Nitsche's outs even further and the {q-Diamonds} gave Vogelsang a flush to score a double up.

Who Will Come Out on Top in Event #4: €250,000 Super High Roller?

Final Table
Final Table

There will be seven players returning to the felt for the final day of Event #4: €250,000 Super High Roller and what a list of accomplishments they each have. Unfortunately for two of them, only five players will make the money and with limited big blinds in play, it will be a dash to the finish.

Leading the way with a comfortable chip lead is Dominik Nitsche with 42,500,000 chips. The German high-roller has built up quite the live poker resume, a lot of which has come right here at King's Resort in Rozvadov. Nitsche will be looking to add a second World Series of Poker gold bracelet in the last three years in Europe along with the first-place prize of €2,844,215.

The rest of the field will be jockeying for position and scrambling just to make it into the money. Chin Wei Lim currently sits in second place with 23,900,000 which is just less than 24 big blinds. Cary Katz is most notably considered a short-stack ninja so he could be right in his comfort zone with 20,000,000 chips and 20 big blinds. James Chen will have to adjust his style of play after holding the chip lead for the better part of the tournament up until the last couple of levels where he fell to the short stack with 13,100,000 chips.

The action is scheduled to get underway at 2 p.m. local time with the blinds resuming at 500,000/1,000,000 with a 1,000,000 big blind ante. Each player will be refreshed with a new set of six time extensions at the start of the day. The final table will be live-streamed on PokerGo with a 60-minute delay. Because of that, the PokerNews live updates will be also delayed to remain in sync with the live stream.

Keep it locked here to find out who will make it into the money and who will walk away with a WSOP gold bracelet and a major payday.
