Phua and Foxen Heading in Opposite Directions

Level 3 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Alex Foxen raised it up to 65,000 on the button and James Chen three-bet to 250,000 in the small blind. Foxen called and the flop came {j-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{2-Spades}. Chen led out for 225,000 and Foxen called to see the {q-Diamonds} on the turn. Chen fired out another 800,000 and Foxen quickly folded.

A couple of hands later, Foxen raised to 60,000 from under the gun and Paul Phua called from the small blind. The flop fell {7-Spades}{6-Hearts}{5-Clubs} and Phua check-called a bet of 40,000 from Foxen.

The turn was the {j-Hearts} and both players checked to the {6-Spades} on the river. Phua led out for 150,000 and Foxen looked him up. Phua tabled {a-Spades}{j-Spades} and Foxen dumped his cards in the muck.

Moments earlier, Phua was seen raking in a massive pot after what appeared to be a double up through Adrian Mateos, leaving the Spaniard on the shortest stack in the room.
