Three-Way Pot, Three Pocket Pairs

Level 10 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Ryan Riess opened to 250,000 in middle position and was called by Dominik Nitsche on his left and Kahle Burns in the big blind. The flop of {5-Spades}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} saw Burns lead out for 275,000. Both Riess and Nitsche called.

The turn brought the {k-Hearts} and Burns checked this time. Riess tossed in a bet of 730,000 which Niess and Burns called. All three players saw the {8-Hearts} on the river and knuckled the table. Burns showed {3-Spades}{3-Clubs}, Riess held {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}, but the pot went to Nitsche who had {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}.
