Level 17 : 300,000/600,000, 600,000 ante

Dominik Nitsche raised to 1,300,000 with the {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and Cary Katz three-bet all in for 7,900,000 with the {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}, no call followed.

Nitsche then made it 1,300,000 to go with {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and Katz called in the small blind with the {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}. The flop brought {10-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and Katz quickly checked, Nitsche bet 2,000,000 and that won the pot right there.

The very next hand, Nitsche opened to 1,300,000 with the {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} and Katz jammed for 9,400,000 with {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}. Ryan Riess in the big blind had a brief decision with the {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds} and folded, Nitsche called.

Katz flopped top pair on {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Nitsche then picked up a lot of outs with the {5-Diamonds} turn. A blank {6-Spades} river completed the board and Katz doubled to remain in contention.
