Katz Has the Goods

Level 6 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Cary Katz raised it up from early position and was called by Tony G in the big blind. The flop came {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and Tony G checked to Katz who continued for 250,000. Tony G called and the {2-Spades} landed on the turn.

Tony G checked again and Katz fired out another large bet of 645,000. Tony G used up one of his time extensions before deciding to put top pair in the muck. It turned out to be a good fold as Katz held two aces.

Lim Flushes Out Vogelsang

Level 6 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

A completed board of {9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} was spread across the felt with just over 700,000 in the middle. Chin Wei Lim checked from the big blind and Christoph Vogelsang dropped in a bet of 650,000 on the button.

Lim went into the tank, using up a time extension, before check-raising to 1,525,000. Vogelsang made a surprisingly quick call only to see Lim turn over {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}. Vogelsang sent over the chips and Lim collected a sizeable pot.

Burns Takes From Katz

Level 7 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Kahle Burns
Kahle Burns

Kahle Burns opened with the {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts} and Cary Katz flat-called with {10-Hearts}{10-Spades} to see the {8-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop, on which Burns continued for 250,000. Katz opted for a raise to 650,000 and Burns made the call.

The {9-Spades} turn gave Katz an open-ender, yet he checked behind and the {2-Clubs} river bricked. Burns now bet 500,000 and Katz tank-folded after using a time-bank.

Another Double for Foxen

Level 6 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Alex Foxen
Alex Foxen

With exactly 1.0 million in the pot and the flop showing {7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}, Alex Foxen made it 500,000 to go in the cutoff and James Chen on the button raised it up to 1.2 million. Foxen used one time bank and moved all in for 2,380,000 in total, which Chen called.

Alex Foxen: {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}
James Chen: {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

The {3-Clubs} turn locked up the double for Foxen and the {a-Hearts} river was a formality.

"Normally it is just you that gets these spots," Foxen said with a smile to Orpen Kisacikoglu.

Just Quads for Adams

Level 6 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Timothy Adams
Timothy Adams

Rainer Kempe raised to 110,000 in early position and was called by Timothy Adams and Alex Foxen in the blinds. The flop came {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and the blinds checked to Kempe who continued for 100,000. Adams called and Foxen quickly folded.

The turn was the {a-Diamonds} and both players checked to the {2-Clubs} on the river. Adams led out for a small bet of 170,000 and Kempe was torn. "If you have pocket threes, you're good," Kempe said as he tossed in a call. Adams showed way better than that with {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for a flopped full house that turned into quads.

Chen Takes From Mateos

Level 6 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

James Chen opened to 110,000 and was called by Adrian Mateos from two seats over. The {j-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop was checked by Chen and he called a continuation bet worth 110,000 by Mateos.

After the {10-Diamonds} turn, Chen checked once more and then called a second barrel worth 400,000 to see the {a-Diamonds} river. This time both checked and Chen rolled over {10-Spades}{8-Spades} for tens and eights to win the pot.

Burns Gets Two Folds

Level 6 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Ryan Riess opened to 110,000 in middle position and Kahle Burns just called in the cutoff which invited Cary Katz to come along from the big blind. The flop came {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} and the action checked to Burns who bet 125,000. Katz quickly called and Riess followed suit.

The turn was the {3-Spades} and both Katz and Riess checked again. Burns tossed in another bet of 450,000 and Katz folded this time. Riess went into the tank for a bit but decided to lay down his hand as well.

Vogelsang Stops Tang's Run

Level 6 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Christoph Vogelsang
Christoph Vogelsang

Christoph Vogelsang limped in from the small blind and Danny Tang made it 150,000 to go from the big blind. Vogelsang called and the dealer fanned the flop of {10-Spades}{8-Clubs}{6-Spades}.

Both players checked and the {q-Spades} landed on the turn. Vogelsang led out for 140,000 and Tang called to see the {5-Spades} on the river. With four spades on the board, Vogelsang checked this time. Tang announced a bet of 360,000 and Vogelsang looked to make the call but hesitated, forcing a time extension from his stack. He eventually came to the decision of a call and Tang turned over {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}. Vogelsang showed {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} and was awarded the pot with the only pair.
