Chen Finishes Off Aldemir

James Chen made it 450,000 from under the gun and Koray Aldemir shipped all in for his last 1,250,000 on his left. The action folded back to Chen who instantly made the call to put Aldemir at risk.

The flop of {j-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} gave Aldemir some hope with a flush draw. However, the {7-Hearts} and {k-Spades} runout bricked off and Aldemir was ousted from the tournament.

Kempe Takes From Badziakouski

In three-way action, Rainer Kempe had raised to 410,000 with the {a-Hearts}{8-Clubs} and Mikita Badziakouski stuck around with the {k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} on the button. They checked the {a-Clubs}{5-Spades}{5-Clubs} flop and Badziakouski was the only one to call a bet of 400,000 by Kempe to see the {5-Diamonds} on the river. Kempe bet 1.2 million and Badziakouski eventually called to lose a ton of chips and drop to a short stack.

Phua Doubles Through Aldemir

Level 12 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

James Chen opened to 450,000 and Koray Aldemir flat-called from one seat over in the hijack. Paul Phua in the cutoff three-bet to 1,800,000 after using one time bank extension and Chen folded, Aldemir called.

After the {q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Spades} flop, Aldemir checked and instantly called the shove of Phua for 5,185,000.

The {3-Diamonds} turn instantly improved Phua and the {5-Spades} river was a formality, reducing the stack of Aldemir to six big blinds.

Tang and Phua Shove

Ryan Riess opened to 425,000 on the button and Danny Tang moved all in from one seat over to win the pot.

Tang then limped and James Chen raised to 650,000 in the cutoff. Paul Phua jammed out of the small blind for 5,735,000 and Tang folded, Chen did so after asking for a count.

Vogelsang Shows Some Aggression

Level 12 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Mikita Badziakouski raised to 410,000 from under the gun and Christoph Vogelsang three-bet to 1,075,000 on the button. Badziakouski called and the flop fell {j-Spades}{6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}.

Badziakouski started with a check and Vogelsang continued with a bet of 600,000. Badziakouski called and the {q-Diamonds} showed up on the turn. Badziakouski checked again and Vogelsang announced a bet of 1,400,000. Badziakouski dumped his cards to the muck and Vogelsang earned the pot.

Matthias Eibinger raised to 425,000 and Koray Aldemir in the small blind three-bet to 1,620,000 to win the pot.

James Chen then raised to 430,000 and was called by Cary Katz on the button and Matthias Eibinger in the big blind. The flop brought {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}{10-Clubs} and the action checked to Chen, who bet 1,010,000 to force two folds.

Paul Phua then made it 425,000 to go and Ryan Riess called in the small blind. The {8-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop was checked, as was the {2-Spades} turn. Riess bet the {3-Diamonds} river for 240,000 and Phua folded.

Tony G three-bet to 1,100,000 with the {j-Clubs}{10-Spades} and Richard Yong moved all in for 2,730,000 from one seat over with the {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}. Tony G eventually called and the board came {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{9-Spades}{q-Spades} to let Yong double.

Filatov Goes for Thin Value

Anatoly Filatov opened to 400,000 in the hijack and James Chen defended from the big blind. The flop came {k-Hearts}{6-Spades}{2-Clubs} and Chen check-called a bet of 250,000 from Filatov.

The {q-Diamonds} landed on the turn and both players checked to the {q-Spades} on the river. Chen checked for the third time and Filatov dropped in a small bet of 400,000. Chen called and Filatov turned over {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}. Chen showed {k-Clubs}{3-Spades} for a bigger two pair and raked in the pot.

On the {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}{10-Hearts} flop, Badziakouski checked and called a bet of 400,000. The {8-Hearts} turn and {6-Spades} river were checked and Badziakouski claimed the pot.
