Nitsche Pressures Yong

Level 12 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Dominik Nitsche limped in from early position and Richard Yong made it 500,000 to go in the cutoff. The action folded back to Nitsche who made the call. The flop came {9-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{6-Hearts} and Nitsche check-called a bet of 210,000 from Yong.

The turn brought the {6-Spades} and Nitsche led out for 350,000. Yong flicked in a call and the {9-Spades} double-paired the board on the river. Nitsche moved all in, putting Yong to the test for his remaining 2,930,000 chips. Yong pondered for a moment but decided to lay his hand down.

Aldemir Collects Chips in Three-Way Pot

Level 12 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

James Chen opened to 430,000 in the cutoff and was called by Koray Aldemir on the button and Cary Katz in the big blind. The {a-Spades}{8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} flop was checked to Chen and a continuation bet worth 400,000 was called by Aldemir and Katz.

After the {2-Hearts} fell on the turn, the action checked to Aldemir and he made it 1,050,000 to go. Katz used one time bank extension and folded, Chen let go without needing any additional time beyond his 30-second shot clock.

Orpen Kisacikoglu
Orpen Kisacikoglu

Christoph Vogelsang opened to 335,000 and Orpen Kisacikoglu three-bet to 1,500,000 in the small blind. Vogelsang called and the two players saw a flop of {3-Spades}{2-Spades}{2-Clubs}. Kisacikoglu shoved all in for 7,165,000 and Vogelsang asked for a count before making the call.

Christoph Vogelsang: {j-Spades}{10-Spades}
Orpen Kisacikoglu: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}

Kisacikoglu fancied his chances with the best hand and the better flush draw. The {5-Clubs} on the turn was no help to Vogelsang but the {j-Hearts} on the river ended Kisacikoglu's tournament in dramatic fashion.
