Joining the action on the turn, Christoph Vogelsang checked his option and called a bet of 950,000 by Orpen Kisacikoglu on the button. The on the river was checked through and Vogelsang tabled for two pair to win the pot.
On the tail end of a battle of the blinds between Phil Ivey and Matthias Eibinger, the former bet the river for 500,000 and Eibinger called. Ivey rolled over and Eibinger mucked.
One hand later, Rainer Kempe opened to 250,000 first to act and Chin Wei Lim called out of the big blind. On a flop, Lim checked and folded when facing a bet of 500,000 by Kempe.
Ryan Riess opened to 250,000 in middle position and was called by Dominik Nitsche on his left and Kahle Burns in the big blind. The flop of saw Burns lead out for 275,000. Both Riess and Nitsche called.
The turn brought the and Burns checked this time. Riess tossed in a bet of 730,000 which Niess and Burns called. All three players saw the on the river and knuckled the table. Burns showed , Riess held , but the pot went to Nitsche who had .
Chin Wei Lim raised it up from the cutoff and James Chen defended from the big blind. The flop came and Chen checked to Lim who continued for 300,000. Chen check-raised to 1,500,000 and Lim three-bet to 3,500,000. Chen called and the appeared on the turn.
Chen checked again and Lim counted out a bet of 3,300,000. Chen still called and the completed the board. Chen checked for the third time and Lim finally checked it back. Chen turned over and Lim mucked his cards. Chen has now climbed over 20 million chips which has separated himself from the field.
Anatoly Filatov raised to 350,000 in the small blind and picked up a call by Timothy Adams in the big blind.
On the flop, Filatov continued for 275,000 and Adams made the call to see the turn. A second barrel for 1,200,000 by Filatov followed and Adams called once more.
After the river, Filatov eventually checked and folded to a shove by Adams.
Tony G open-shoved for 1,515,000 and Rainer Kempe called out of the big blind.

The board came and Tony G rivered a flush to survive.
"Keeps me going, saves me the rebuy," Tony G said in table chat while Kempe engaged in table chat with Alex Foxen.
Only one minute later, the seat of Tony G was empty, however, as he lost a flip with queens against the ace-king of Phil Ivey. Whether or not he will enter again remains to be seen as the registration closes at the end of the current level.
Matthias Eibinger defended his small blind against a raise by James Chen and check-called a bet of 150,000 on the flop. The turn was checked and Eibinger bet the river for 675,000, Eibinger folded.
Alex Foxen raised it up to 265,000 from the cutoff and Phil Ivey defended his big blind. The flop came and Ivey check-called a bet of 230,000 from Foxen. They both checked through the on the turn and the on the river. Foxen showed and was awarded the pot.
In the next hand, Rainer Kempe made it 250,000 to go in middle position and Matthias Eibinger called from the big blind. The flop fell and Eibinger checked to Kempe who continued for 215,000. Eibinger called and the landed on the turn.
Eibinger checked again and Kempe checked it back. The paired the board on the river and Eibinger tossed in a bet of 600,000. Kempe thought for a few seconds before relinquishing his cards.
There have been four more entries to kick off Day 2, three re-entries and one new entry from Phil Ivey. That brings the total to 28 entries with one more level of late registration. The cards are now in the air with the blinds at 60,000/120,000 and a 120,000 big blind ante.
