Stefanelli All the Way

Level 13 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Three bets apiece went in between Bruno Stefanelli, Ville Haavisto, and Eli Elezra before the {j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{3-Spades} flop was dealt. Stefanelli bet, Haavisto called, and Elezra folded.

Stefanelli kept barreling on the {a-Hearts} turn and {9-Spades} river and, after some hesitation, Haavisto called off both bets. Stefanelli showed {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for a set of aces and Haavisto mucked.

Shortly after being outmuscled by Viktor Blom, Grzegorz Wyraz also lost the rest of his stack. He was joined on the rail by Martin Staszko and Andreas Dyll.

Grzegorz Wyraz: {x-}{x-} / {7-Clubs}{k-Spades}{j-Spades}{a-Hearts} (folded on sixth)
Viktor Blom: {x-}{x-} / {10-Spades}{k-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{9-Spades}

On fifth street, Grzegorz Wyraz bet and Viktor Blom called. On sixth, Wyraz bet again and Blom decided to raise. Wyraz gave Blom an intense staredown and folded for several minutes before giving it up.

At an adjacent table, a very short-stacked Allen Kessler was all in for his final crumbs against Bruno Stefanelli. Kessler had {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{2-Spades} open against Stefanelli's {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}{4-Hearts}. Stefanelli drew {a-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{7-Spades} and Kessler caught {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}, improving neither player which kept "Chainsaw"'s jacks ahead from start to finish.

With around 45,000 in the middle and the board reading {5-Spades}{5-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{a-Clubs}, it was Philipp Zukernik who moved all in for 31,700. Jeff Madsen spent several minutes in the tank before flicking in a calling chip.

Philipp Zukernik: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{2-Clubs}
Jeff Madsen: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}

Zukernik was drawing dead against Madsen's fives full of queens, making the {2-Hearts} river a mere formality.

Stud Hi-Lo

Ivo Donev: {q-Spades}{2-Clubs} / {2-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{5-Clubs} / {4-Spades}
Allen Kessler: {9-Spades}{6-Diamonds} / {a-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{5-Spades}{2-Spades} / {2-Hearts}

Ivo Donev was first to act with the {2-Diamonds} and went all in for his final 1,900. Kessler raised with the ace to get the rundown heads-up.

"Ducks with an ace," Eli Elezra chuckled after Kessler's board was completed first. Donev had plenty of outs to survive and sweated the river before revealing a four to make two pair. Kessler, though, also had a seventy-six low to go with his deuces and the pair chopped the pot.
