Hakim Zoufri Eliminated in 4th Place (€177,072)

Level 26 : 400,000/800,000, 800,000 ante
Abdelhakim Zoufri
Abdelhakim Zoufri

Kahle Burns shipped it in on the button, putting pressure on both Hakim Zoufri and Sam Trickett in the blinds. Zoufri paused for a bit before calling all in for 12,925,000 in the small blind.

Sam Trickett instantly overcalled all in for 11,600,000 in the big blind to create a three-way all-in situation.

Sam Trickett: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Hakim Zoufri: {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Kahle Burns: {8-Spades}{5-Spades}

The flop was {j-Spades}{7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}, pairing up Burns but keeping Trickett's kings in the lead. The {k-Clubs} on the turn left Burns drawing dead, while Zoufri needed a queen for the main pot, or an ace or ten for the small side pot.

The {2-Hearts} on the river meant a triple for Trickett, while Zoufri was eliminated in 4th place. The Dutchman received €177,072 for his accomplishment.

Zoufri Doubles Again

Level 26 : 400,000/800,000, 800,000 ante

After the blinds went up, Hakim Zoufri raised to 3,500,000 first to act and Sam Trickett called on the button. They got Zoufri's final 950,000 in on the {q-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop.

Hakim Zoufri: {a-Hearts}{5-Clubs}
Sam Trickett: {k-Spades}{j-Clubs}

Zoufri's hand remained best after the {9-Diamonds} turn and {5-Spades} river to double up twice in a row.

Abdelhakim Zoufri
Abdelhakim Zoufri

Sam Trickett raised to 1,800,000 from under the gun. It got folded to Hakim Zoufri in the big blind, who barely had anything left after paying the big blind and big blind ante. He called and got his final 100,000 chip in on the {10-Spades}{7-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop.

Hakim Zoufri: {9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}
Sam Trickett: {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}

The {j-Diamonds} turn brought the straight Zoufri needed to crack Trickett's aces. The river was the {4-Diamonds} and Zoufri doubled up.

Timothy Adams Eliminated in 5th Place (€128,326)

Level 25 : 300,000/600,000, 600,000 ante
Timothy Adams
Timothy Adams

Timothy Adams shoved all in for 7,075,000 in middle position and Sam Trickett quickly called from the big blind.

Timothy Adams: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Sam Trickett: {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}

The {4-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop gave Adams extra wheel outs to go with his overcards, but all the aces, kings and fives remained in the deck on the {j-Spades} turn and {10-Hearts} river. Adams added €128,326 on top of his $18M+ in lifetime winnings.

Timothy Adams shoved all in for 4,350,000 from the hijack with {q-Diamonds}{10-Spades} and got it through.

A few hands later, Kahle Burns raised to 1,225,000 on the button with {10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}, Adams shoved 5,250,000 from the big blind with {a-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} and Burns folded.

Ensan on the Turn

Level 25 : 300,000/600,000, 600,000 ante

Sam Trickett raised the button with {q-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and Hossein Ensan defended the big blind with {q-Hearts}{j-Clubs}. The flop was {a-Spades}{10-Clubs}{6-Hearts} and Ensan check-called 800,000 from Trickett.

Ensen opted to lead out for 2,900,000 on the {2-Spades} turn and Trickett folded.

Alex Foxen Eliminated in 6th Place (€95,962)

Level 24 : 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante
Alex Foxen
Alex Foxen

First to act, Alex Foxen shoved all in for 5,950,000. Sam Trickett, slightly covering Foxen after winning two hands in a row, called from the big blind.

Alex Foxen: {q-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Sam Trickett: {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}

The {k-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop brought no help for the American. He added some straight outs on the {9-Clubs} turn but the {j-Hearts} river wasn't what he needed. Foxen was the first to bow out today, taking home €95,962 for finishing in 6th place.
