Filatov Eliminates Higgs and More Than Doubles

Anatoly Filatov raised to 125,000 from under the gun and action folded to Sam Higgs in the small blind who shoved for 240,000. Joao Vieira glanced at Filatov's stack and then decided to overshove. Filatov called for 1,020,000 in total.

The flop came to give Vieira the upper hand with set of sevens.

The turn was the which didn't change things but the on the river gave Filatov the higher set to claim all of Higgs' chips and earn a full double-up through Vieira.

Mateos Scores Double Knockout; Eliminates Riess and Phua

Ryan Riess moved all in from middle position for 850,000 and Adrian Mateos reshoved from the cutoff for 1,200,000. Paul Phua called for less from the small blind, putting at risk about 1,000,000 and the players tabled their hands.

Phua was ahead, but the flop came giving Mateos a flush draw.

"One time!" muttered Mateos.

Indeed, the turn and river completed the board and Mateos got his flush to scoop the pot, eliminating both Riess and Phua.
