Schulze Running Hot

Level 15 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

After scoring a massive double up to start the day, Felix Schulze has continued that momentum through the early going on his way to the chip lead. Schulze raised to 17,000 in the hijack and was called by Antonio Madreira De Andrade Dos Santos in the cutoff, Mykola Kostyrko on the button, and Maxim Lykov in the big blind.

The flop came {a-Clubs}{5-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and the action checked to Dos Santos who bet 25,000. Only Schulze called and the {9-Diamonds} landed on the turn. Both players checked and the {2-Spades} completed the board. Schulze put together a bet of 96,000 and Dos Santos snapped him off. Schulze tabled {a-Spades}{2-Hearts} for two pair which was good enough to beat Dos Santos' {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}.

Daniel Rezaei raised it up to 18,000 in the cutoff and was called by Roman Sahin on the button and Kristoffer Rasmussen in the small blind. The flop fell {q-Clubs}{j-Spades}{8-Diamonds} and the action checked around to the {3-Spades} on the turn.

Rasmussen led out for 55,000 which got Rezaei to fold but Sahin min-raised to 110,000. Rasmussen thought for a moment but decided to just call. The river was the {5-Diamonds} and Rasmussen checked this time. Sahin quickly checked it back and Rasmussen tabled {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for a straight.

Kabrhel Takes from Moadeli

Level 14 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Silence is gold they say, but this doesn't count for Martin Kabrhel's and Mehrzad Moadeli's table. The two players are very talkative so anyone can imagine what happens when you put them on the same table.

In one of their clashes, Kabrhel took some chips from Moadeli, in a hand where Kabrhel minraised preflop and Moadeli defended his big blind. The flop came {a-Spades}{9-Hearts}{9-Clubs} and Moadeli check-raised to 14,000 after Kabrhel's continuation bet for 7,000.

Kabrhel called and the turn was the {6-Spades}. Kabrhel said to Moadeli "if you check-raise me again you are my new hero", and this is exactly what Moadeli did, check-raising to 38,000 after Kabrhel's bet to 19,000. However, Kabrhel didn't call this time but reraised to 119,000.

Moadeli said that he doesn't believe Kabrhel has a full house, and he folded showing only the {6-Clubs}. He asked Kabrhel to show him his hand, but he threw his hands quickly in the muck.

Blasko Doubles, Chen Eliminated

Level 14 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

There were three players still in the hand on a flop of {q-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} with around 75,000 in the middle. Abdelhakim Zoufri checked from the big blind and Viktor Walter bet 20,000 in the hijack. Marek Blasko raised to 60,000 on the button which got Zoufri to fold. Walter jammed all in and Blasko quickly called off his stack of 183,000.

Marek Blasko: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Viktor Walter: {q-Clubs}{10-Spades}

Blasko was in a great position to double up with Walter drawing to just two outs. The {8-Clubs} on the turn and the {10-Clubs} on the river ensured Blasko of a full double up.

At another table, Zhong Chen was all in for around 150,000 with {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}. He was up against the {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} of Emmanouil Fountoulakis and the flop of {j-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} heavily favored Fountoulakis. The {q-Hearts} on the turn gave Chen plenty of outs but the {a-Clubs} on the river was not one of them.
