Antonello Ferraiuolo
Antonello Ferraiuolo

Narcis Nedelcu {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} raised to 1,700,000 and Antonello Ferraiuolo defended {j-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} in the big blind.

The flop {8-Spades}{q-Hearts}{j-Hearts} gave both players a pair. Ferraiuolo checked and Nedelcu bet 3,000,000. The Italian check-raised all in for 13,300,000 and Nedelcu called.

With 31,200,000 in the middle, this was the largest pot of the final table so far. The turn {10-Spades} improved Ferraiuolo to a queen-high straight. Nedelcu could hit a king to send his opponent to the rail, but the river was the {10-Clubs} and Nedelcu was left with less than four big blinds.
