Merten Doubles; Big Stacks Climbing

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Adel Kabbani continues to be among the big stacks, but after Thomas Merten bet 10,000 on the {6-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{a-Spades} flop and Mauro Piras called, he folded allowing the two remaining players to see the {5-Hearts} on the turn.

Merten bet 35,000 and Piras shoved. Merten snap-called with {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts} for a flush and had Piras drawing dead with {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}.

The river was the {4-Hearts} and Merten doubled up.

Other big stacks around the room include Claudio Celenza and Joao Lima.
