Filatov Spikes the River Double

Level 10 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

A rather classic flip unfolded as Anatoly Filatov was the player at risk for the last 285,000 against Julien Martini.

Anatoly Filatov: {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Julien Martini: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}

It seemed to be all over for Filatov on the {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{5-Hearts} flop and he found no help on the {4-Spades} turn. However, the {10-Clubs} river gave Filatov a winning set and he doubled through big stack Martini.

Schemion Felted by Smolka

Level 10 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Ole Schemion
Ole Schemion

Ole Schemion defended the big blind against the under-the-gun raise by Dawid Smolka and then check-called all-in for around 60,000 on the {9-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop.

Ole Schemion: {k-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Dawid Smolka: {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

The {10-Hearts} turn and {3-Spades} river brought no help to Schemion and he quickly left the tournament area.

Panetti's Jam Leaves Adamszki Short

Level 10 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Christope Panetti raised to 22,000 in the hijack and Tamas Adamszki three-bet to 70,000 on the button, which Panetti called. The {9-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} flop was checked by both players and Panetti then led the {5-Hearts} turn for 37,000, as Adamszki called.

On the {q-Clubs} river, Panetti bet once more and Adamszki raised big to 375,000 with fewer than half of that behind after tanking for a while. Panetti jammed near instantly and Adamszki reluctantly folded after some two minutes.

Pärssinen Pays Off Smolka

Level 10 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Dawid Smolka opted to bet the {7-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} turn for 50,000 in the big blind after Eelis Pärssinen called in an early position. The {5-Spades} river paired the board and Smolka now bet 135,000. Pärssinen eventually called and nodded when Smolka exposed the {q-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} on the other side of the table.

The action started with a raise to 22,000 by Jordan Westmorland and Pablo Theobald called from one seat over. Julien Martini then made it 110,000 to go and Westmorland folded while Theobald called. The {9-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{4-Spades} flop was checked by Theobald and Martini bet 75,000 to receive a call.

What followed was the {8-Diamonds} turn on which Theobald jammed for around 230,000 and received a snap-call by Martini.

Pablo Theobald: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Julien Martini: {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

The {3-Spades} river was a blank as Martini leaped into the lead.
