Bonavena Tank Folds

Salvatore Bonavena was involved in a pot with [Removed:509].

On the {6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and with 350,000 in the pot, Bonavena bet 140,000 and Novid shoved on him, covering Bonavena by far.

Bonavena went into the tank for a couple of minutes, looked at his cards and then decided to fold, leaving him with a short stack.

Budai Hits Quads

The flop read {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{4-Spades} and Alexandru Budai in the hijack and Martini Denis were heads-up with a 175,000 bet and call.

They both checked through the {6-Diamonds} on the turn to the {a-Spades} on the river. Budai barreled a bet of 275,000 over the line. Denis contemplated it for a bit and then made the call but mucked when Budai tabled the {a-Clubs}{9-Spades} for quad aces.

On the next hand, Budai raised to 80,000 from the late position. Denis called in the hijack and so did Bljerim Imeri in the small blind.

The flop came {8-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}, Imeri check-folded to the 85,000 continuation-bet of Budai but Denis made the call.

The tun was the {2-Hearts}. Budai fired a bet of 150,000 out for Denis to shove for 410,000. Budai folded immediately.

Eliminations Come Fast after the Break
