Vogel Triples Up After Arriving Late

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Josef Vogel just recently got to his seat after nearly missing the entire first level. He wasted no time in getting his short stack of 87,000 in the middle. Paul Bradu was also all in 111,000 and Nawroz Gaff called having both players covered.

Josef Vogel: {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Paul Bradu: {9-}{9-}
Nawroz Gaff: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

The flop came {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} to give Vogel the lead in the main pot with a pair of aces. The {3-Hearts} on the turn and the {6-Clubs} on the river changed nothing as Vogel scored a triple up and Gaff took down the side pot.

Strobel Doubles Through Modrea

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

The action folded to Adrian Strobel in the hijack who shipped all in for his last 99,000 chips. Nicolae Modrea called on the button and the blinds folded.

Adrian Strobel: {5-Spades}{5-Clubs}
Nicolae Modrea: {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

It was a coin flip and Strobel held the lead through the {10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop. The {2-Spades} on the turn was a brick and the {5-Diamonds} on the river only improved Strobel to a set of fives to score a double up.

Enders Doubles Through Marteniuc

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Ioan-Lucian Marteniuc raised to 19,000 from under the gun and Chris Enders three-bet shoved for 63,000 from the middle position. The action folded back to Marteniuc who made the call.

Chris Enders: {k-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Ioan-Lucian Marteniuc: {6-Spades}{6-Clubs}

The board ran out {2-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{10-Spades}{8-Hearts} for Enders to hit the runner-runner straight to stay alive.

Touati Nearly Triples with Aces

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Vincenzo Scognamiglio open-shipped all in for 145,000 in early position and Nadir Touati re-shoved all in on his left. Charles Motamedi was the big stack at the table and called on the button to put both players at risk.

Vincenzo Scognamiglio: {k-Hearts}{8-Hearts}
Nadir Touati: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}
Charles Motamedi: {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

The flop came {q-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{4-Clubs} to give Motamedi a couple of outs to scoop the entire pot. The {6-Hearts} on the turn was a good card for Scognamiglio who picked up a straight and flush draw. However, the {3-Clubs} on the river bricked everything and Touati's aces held on to win the pot.
