Andrea Ricci
Andrea Ricci

With 8,000 to the middle on the {9-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop, Boban Zhivkovikj check-called a bet worth 3,500 by Andrea Ricci and the {10-Diamonds} turn was checked by both players. Zhivkovikj then led the {3-Clubs} river for 10,000 and Ricci called rather swiftly to get shown the {a-Spades}{k-Spades}.

Ricci had that beat with the {6-Spades}{6-Hearts} for just a pair of sixes and continued his early rise on Day 1a.

Enrico Campanile

Enrico Campanile raised to 700 from under the gun and was called by Hagai Ben Yair in the hijack. Felix Neubauer re-raised to 2,100 from the big blind and both Campanile and Ben Yair quickly called.

Both players checked and the {6-Clubs} paired the board on the river. Campanile led out with a bet of 20,000 and Ben Yair decided to call. Campanile turned over {7-Spades}{7-Hearts} for a full house and Ben Yair mucked his cards.
