Campanile Takes the Lead

Level 4 : 300/600, 600 ante

Picking up the action on the {k-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{10-Hearts} turn, Alf Klinge check-called a bet worth 5,000 by table big stack Enrico Campanile. The {2-Spades} river completed the board and Klinge checked once more.

Campanile bet another 25,000 to receive a call and flip over {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for the ten-high straight as the winning hand.

Snejberg Chips Up In Three-Way Action

Level 3 : 300/500, 500 ante

Three ways to the {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} flop, the action checked to Sergio Regalbuto and he bet 7,000. Josef Snejberg check-raised to 17,000 in the small blind and Omer Gabay called, as did Regalbuto.

The {7-Spades} turn was checked by Snejberg once more and a bet worth 21,200 by Gabay brought a fold from Regalbuto and a call by Snejberg. The Czech then checked the {k-Clubs} river and Gabay checked behind.

"Why?" grinned Snejberg as he rolled over the {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds} for jacks full, Gabay revealed the {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}.

Busch Busts to Pedevilla

Level 3 : 300/500, 500 ante

Ricardo Busch had seen his stack reduced to around one third of what he started with and he four-bet jammed that only to get snapped off by Marc Pedevilla.

Ricardo Busch: {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Marc Pedevilla: {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}

The {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{2-Hearts} board avoided a split pot and the first of two possible entries of Busch went down in flames.

Ankucic Steals One on the River

Level 3 : 300/500, 500 ante

Three players saw a flop of {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades} with a little over 20,000 in the middle. The action checked to Manuel Fritz in the hijack who bet 4,400. The small blind folded and Nebojsa Ankucic called from the big blind.

The turn brought the {j-Hearts} and both players checked to the {q-Hearts} on the river. With four hearts on the board, Ankucic led out with a bet of 12,000 which got Fritz to send his cards to the muck.

Pete Chen
Pete Chen

Boban Zhivkovikj opened to 1,200 from under the gun and called a three-bet to 4,500 by Pete Chen in the big blind. Both players checked the {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}{10-Clubs} flop and Chen then led the {4-Clubs} turn for 11,500, which his table neighbour called.

After the {5-Hearts} river, Chen check-called for 30,000 and Zhivkovikj was caught bluffing with {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs} as Chen raked in the pot with the {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}.
