Kamphues Doubles Through Penev with a Cooler

Level 9 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Timo Kamphues
Timo Kamphues

Karo Nuri raised to 4,500 from the hijack and Timo Kamphues three-bet to 11,500 from the cutoff. Zlatin Penev was in the small blind and announced all-in covering both of his opponents.

While Nuri folded, Kamphues snap-called and cards were turned over.

Kamphues showed {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts} while Penev had {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}. Kamphues was at risk and behind but the flop came {k-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and Kamphues was now in the lead.

The turn {4-Clubs} and river {q-Hearts} didn't change anything and Kamphues doubled up.

Ricci Chops With Angelini

Level 9 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Andrea Ricci opened to 4,000 and Nicola Angelini in the small blind three-bet to 16,500, Ricci then four-bet to 44,000 and Angelini called. On the {a-Spades}{7-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop both checked and Angelini bet the {a-Diamonds} turn for 25,00, picking up a call by Ricci.

Angelini jammed the {j-Hearts} river with the superior stack and Ricci called with the {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}, which chopped it up against the {a-Clubs}{q-Spades} of Angelini.

One hand later, Anh Do four-bet jammed for 98,500 against Angelini, who forfeited his three-bet to 12,000.

Level 9 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Narcis Nedelcu
Narcis Nedelcu

On the river of a board {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{10-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}, Narcis Nedelcu checked his option out of the big blind. Anthony Amsellem bet 55,000 only for Nedelcu to check-raise to 150,000 total.

Amsellem sunk back in his chair almost immediately and went into the tank. Some one and a half minutes later he made the call and Nedelcu rolled over the {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts} for kings full of jacks. Amsellem shook his head and exposed the {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} for broadway to take a big blow to his stack.
