Ghashayar Gets Paid

Level 27 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Wladimir Gerner opened to 100,000 in middle position and received calls from Iman Ghashayar in the small blind and Emil Bise in the big blind.

All three players checked the 4JQ flop before Ghashayar led out for 190,000 on the 3 turn. Bise called before Gerner folded.

Ghashayar fired again on the 6 river for 440,000. Bise snap-called, mucking his cards quickly as Ghashayar revealed 44 for a flopped set of fours.

Hu You Gonna Call?

Level 27 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

David Hu raised to 100,000 and earned a call from Borys Rozhanovskyi out of the big blind. Both checked the 653 flop before Rozhanovskyi led the J turn for 90,000, which Hu called.

After the 4 river, Rozhanovskyi bet another 225,000 and Hu then announced a raise to 750,000.

Rozhanovskyi snap-called but sighed when he was shown the K9 for the second nuts by Hu, exposing his 87 for a seven-high straight in disgust.

Flesner Keeps Firing

Level 27 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Emanuel Flesner raised from middle position and found a call from Maximilian Kapun in the small blind.

A check from Kapun on the 7510 flop was followed by a bet of 100,000 from Flesner. The call was made to the 3 turn, where Kapun checked again.

Flesner fired again for 250,000, enough to take down the pot as Kapun folded.

Gerner Still Leads the Way

Level 27 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Lukas Pazma defended the big blind to then check the K63 flop. Initial raiser Ion Tabacaru bet 75,000 but folded to a check-raise, flashing the A.

One hand later, David Eiselt raised it up to 100,000 in the hijack. Table chip leader Wladimir Gerner on the button carefully prepared a three-bet before making it 365,000 to go, forcing folds all the way.

Pidjoian Chips Up Without Showdown

Level 27 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Caren Pidjoian min-raised just before the blinds went up while in the hijack and Florin Bilan called on the button.

On a flop of AQ2, Pidjoian continued for 60,000 and earned a call from Bilan. Both checked the 10 turn before Pidjoian then bet 375,000 on the 7 river. That did the trick to avoid a showdown, as Bilan opted to fold.

Vega Meister Loses With Queens; Bounces Back

Level 26 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Jacek Kaczmarek and Alfredo Vega Meister were heads up, with all of the former's chips in the middle.

Kaczmarek immediately on the A49 flop, hitting two pair to take the lead. The K turn and 5 river completed the double up, leaving Vega Meister shorter but in contention. A few hands later, Vega Meister doubled with aces versus kings to jump back into the mix.

Descultu Doubles Through Samih

Level 26 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Tawfik Samih raised and then called the shove by Claudiu Descultu for 665,000 total, setting up the following all-in showdown.

The superior pocket pair came out on top thanks to the J85QA board as Descultu doubled with a set of queens.

Rozhanovskyi On the Rise

Hoa Nguyen moved his final 290,000 chips into the middle from middle position, only to see Borys Rozhanovskyi shove his stack of 595,000. Marin Dragutan instantly called in the big blind and the hands were turned up.

Rozhanovskyi was looking to fade overcards and was able to on the 26992 runout, earning the pot while Nguyen was eliminated.

Mueller Eliminated by Koleno

Jiri Kun got out of the way when Stanislav Koleno pushed all-in, having previously called the shove of short stack Manfred Mueller.
