Algeri Runs Into Marjanovic's Quads
Level 1
: Blinds 100/300, 300 ante
With around 13,000 in the pot on a board of J♦J♠5♠J♣, Adem Marjanovic bet 5,000 from the big blind and Samantha Algeri called in the small blind.
The river came the 8♦ and Marjanovic tossed out 40,000. Algeri leaned over the table and began muttering to herself as she tanked for nearly five minutes.
She eventually called and Marjanovic opened up J♥10♥ for quad jacks. "Nice bet," Algeri told him as she tapped the felt and mucked.
