Amsellem Snaps Off Eljach
Level 16
: Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Jacob Amsellem raised to 20,000 in early position before Omar Eljach three-bet to 105,000 in the small blind. Amsellem then four-bet to 250,000, Eljach moved all in, and Amsellem snap-called for 689,000.
Jacob Amsellem: A♦K♦
Omar Eljach: A♥2♥
Eljach was caught making a move and was dominated by Amsellem heading to the 10♠4♠J♥ flop.
"Five," Eljach pleaded as the 7♣ fell on the turn. "Deuce," he called for going to the river, but the dealer flipped over the 5♣ and Amsellem earned the massive double up and put a significant dent in Eljach's hopes of making a run at a repeat title.
