Dario Sammartino opened to 125,000 from early position with A♦9♦. Eric Tsai defended his big blind with A♣2♠.

Tsai took the lead on the J♥2♥4♣ flop and check-called for 95,000. Tsai improved to two pair on A♥ turn, which also gave Sammartino a pair. Action checked through to the 7♦ river.

Tsai led out for 285,000 and was called by Sammartino, who then mucked his losing hand.
