Chidwick Raises Ertural Twice

With three players seeing a board of 23QJ and 12,300 already in the middle, Harun Ertural bet 10,000 from the small blind. Jean Gessis folded from the hijack before Stephen Chidwick raised to 35,000. Ertural made the call.

Chidwick checked the Q river and Ertural bet 30,000. Chidwick put in a check-raise to 150,000, sending Ertural, who had less behind, deep into the tank.

After several minutes Ertural opted to fold and Chidwick took down a sizable pot without showdown.

Pora Vault recently won a massive pot wherein he flopped a full house with 5x8x on a 5x5x8x flop against an opponent who held 5x3x for trips — sending him over the 700k mark late in Day 1a for a solid chip lead.

Teusl Shoves Out Yildirim

Jessica Teusl and Oender Yildirim built a pot of around 40,000 as they went heads-up to the turn on a board of 310A8.

Yildirim then led out for 27,500 in the big blind. Teusl was in the hijack and came back with an all-in shove, having Yildirim well covered.

Yildirim had around 75,000 remaining and tanked for a minute before sliding his cards into the muck.

Keating Gets Thin Value

Level 7 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

With two players seeing a board of J83 and 7,200 already in the middle, Alex Keating bet 3,000 from the small blind and Mohamed El Bakkali called from the big blind.

Both players checked the A turn leading to the 9 river. Keating bet 3,500 and El Bakkali snap-called.

Keating tabled 95 for just third pair and El Bakkali quickly mucked.

Flush Over Flush Sends Shehadeh's Chips to Sammartino

With around 25,000 in the pot on a board of 2745, Luigi Shehadeh bet 17,200 before Dario Sammartino moved all in.

"GG," Shehadeh said as he sighed and called for his last 30,000, showing K9 for a flush but having his fears confirmed when Sammartino turned over AJ for the nut flush.

The 7 completed the board and Sammartino sent Shehadeh to the rail.

Neugebauer Gets no Resistance

Jessica Teusl opened to 2,400 from early position and was three-bet to 7,500 by Oender Yildirim on the button. Max Neugebauer then four-bet to 21,600 from the small blind. Teusl folded, but Yildirim called.

Neugebauer continued for 10,000 on the K24 flop and Yildirim quickly folded to award Neugebauer a quick chip up.

Vivian Saliba opened to 2,700 from middle position and Daniel Rezaei three-bet to 10,000 from the hijack. Saliba made the call.

The flop came AK6 and Saliba check-called a 10,000 continuation bet from Rezaei.

Both players checked the 9 turn leading to the 9 river. Saliba checked, Rezaei bet 28,500 and Saliba made the call.

Daniel Rezaei showed down J9 for trip nines. Saliba flashed AxJx before sending her cards into the muck.

Novak Gets a Bit of Value at the River

With 26,000 in the middle on a flop of AQ8, Piotr Sztenkiel bet 8,000 from the big blind and was called by Robert Novak in the small blind.

Both players checked the 8 on the turn and the A double-paired the board on the river. Novak put in a small bet of 5,000 and was called by Sztenkiel. Novak turned over AJ for aces full and his opponent chucked his cards into the muck.

All the chips went into the middle preflop with Stanislav Koleno at risk for 40,000 from early position and was against Martin Wolf in the big blind who covered.

Both players turned over suited big slick and after the flop of J105, it looked like the pot would be chopped. But Wolf went runner-runner when the J8 completed the board to give him the flush to send Koleno to the rail in disbelief.
