Teusl Wins Four-Way Tussle & Takes Quarter of Quatro's Stack

Four players went to the flop of Q74 and Dino Volkholz bet 2,400 from the hijack and was called by Jessica Teusl in the cutoff.

Luca Quarto raised to 5,200 from the big blind which got folds from Alexander Kolonias in middle position and Volkholz. Teusl however repopped to 20,000. Quarto took a minute before making the call.

The 3 landed on the turn and Teusl went big with a bet of 40,500. Quarto went deep into the tank and asked Teusl to show her hand. Quarto mucked KQ face-up and Teusl showed 44 for a flopped set as she dragged in a huge pot.

The flop came KJJ and Kolonias check-called a 700 continuation bet from State.

Both players checked the 2 turn leading to the 4 river. Kolonias checked, State bet 2,200 and Kolonias made the call.

State could only show 108 for ten-high while Kolonias tabled A4 for two pair, jacks and fours to take the pot.

Sturm then led out for 40,500 and Rotholz tanked for a minute before calling. Sturm showed him AJ for trip aces and Rotholz mucked as the German high roller and WSOP bracelet winner took the pot.

Ole Schemion bet 5,000 from the small blind on a flop of 1099 before Stefano Aprile raised to 15,000 on the button.

Schemion called and checked over to Aprile on the 8 turn. Aprile then moved all in for around 40,000.

Schemion, who had around the same amount behind, tanked for around 30 seconds before giving up his hand.

"Maybe you are good. Maybe you are not good," a tablemate said.

Chen Doubles Through Boatman

Barny Boatman opened to 1,200 first-to-act and was called by Devrim Kaya in early position. Arturo then squeezed to 4,500 in the hijack and just behind him, James Chen made it 10,500 to go in the cutoff. Action folded back to Boatman, who five-bet to 16,500.

Kaya and Paduano folded to Chen, who appeared to want to call, but accidentally clicked it back. Boatman went all in and Chen called all in for 31,000 total.

Chen was in good shape with his cowboys, and the 42Q4K runout improved him to a full house for the double up.

There were 26,500 in the middle on a completed board of A7368 and Kacper Pawlowski bet 18,000 from the cutoff.

Michael Gehrmann went deep into the tank for over two minutes before making the call. The Czech player turned over 77 for a set of sevens and Gehrmann tossed his cards into the muck.

Alexandridis gave it some thought before mucking, but Olesnan snap-called. Penev turned over AA for top set, but Olesnan showed him the bad news as he had KQ for the nut straight.

The K completed the board and Penev was sent to the rail. "I had ace-jack," Alexandridis admitted after the hand.
