Wieckenberg Bests Achille Flush Over Flush, Stroke Laments Lost Opportunity

Level 3 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

On a flop of 5K4, Shawn Stroke bet 2,500 from the big blind and Jacopo Achille called under the gun. Jan Wieckenberg then raised to 7,500 in the hijack.

Stroke called, but Achille put in a reraise to 27,000. Wieckenberg called, while Stroke got out of the way. The turn came the 5 and Achille checked over to Wieckenberg, who bet 12,000.

Achille called and the 6 fell on the river. Both players then checked and Wieckenberg showed A3 for the nut flush, while Achille had 109.

"I win this pot. I folded king-five on the flop. Why did you reraise, man," Stroke lamented as he would've made a full house on the turn.

Cintula Climbs Back

Level 3 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Andrej Cintula and Jovan Kenjic were battling over 13,500 chips when the hand arrived on the turn on Q965. Cintula checked from middle position and Kenjic made a bet of 11,600 from the button.

Cintula thought about it for a bit before committing a call to the middle, and the 7 turn completed the board. Both players then checked in quick succession and Cintula tabled 87 for a turned straight.

Kenjic mucked his cards as he could not beat that and Cintula chipped back up to above the starting stack.

Heath Bombs the Turn on Sertkan

Level 3 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Ben Heath raised to 1,300 under the gun before Andrea Radicchi three-bet to 4,500 in early position. Erguen Sertkan called on the button, as did Heath and they went three-handed to the 63K flop.

Action checked to Sertkan and he bet 12,500. Only Heath called and the 5 fell on the turn.

Sertkan then bet another 31,500 and Heath paused for a minute before emerging with a raise to 80,000. Sertkan, who was looking down watching a video on his phone, suddenly shot up to stare at the board as he went into the tank. Nearly two minutes went by before he folded.

Dingenen Wants to Go Big, but Goes Home

Level 3 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Michele Pucci raised to 1,000 from early position and Miroslav Salaj called from middle position. Jakob Miegel then put in a three-bet to 4,400 before Tom Dingenen opted to four-bet all in for 20,200 chips from the big blind.

The action folded to Miegel, who called with the covering stack.

Tom Dingenen: 87
Jakob Miegel: QQ

Dingenen's undercards were no issue for Miegel's queens, as the ladies comfortably held on the A31044 runout. Dingenen left the tournament area while Miegel was on his way back to the starting stack.

The river came the 2 and Donzelli bet another 6,300. Alexandridis snap-called and Donzelli turned over J8 for two pair, eights and deuces.

Alexandridis threw his cards across the table and surrendered the pot to Donzelli.

More For Miegel

Level 3 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Ihar Soika opened to 1,200 first-to-act and was called by Jakob Miegel in the small blind and Vasileios Chatzilazarou in the big blind.

It was checked to Soika on the 7QA flop and he continued for a bet of 1,200. Miegel and Chatzilazarou both called.

Everyone checked on the 2 turn, but Miegel led out for a hefty 5,300 bet when the 10 completed the board. Both of his opponents folded in turn and Miegel dragged the pot.

Hen Rosilio
Hen Rosilio

Hen Rosilio had just purchased his entry ticket when he immediately got involved in a pot with Peter Zamiska. There were 15,000 chips in the middle and the board read 6245 when Zamiska checked from the small blind and Rosilio bet 8,500 from early position.

Zamiska made the call, and the A river rolled off. Another check followed from Zamiska, after which Roslio made a large bet of 25,200.

"Bluff?", Zamiska asked, shortly before folding his JJ face-up.

Rosilio just smiled and claimed that he was happy that he won his first hand.
