Saliba Waits For the Clock

Level 21 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Vivian Saliba
Vivian Saliba

Vivian Saliba raised to 400,000 under the gun, leaving herself around 50,000 back, and Eusebiu Jalba moved all in from early position.

"Pay jump. One minute," Saliba said as she looked up at the tournament clock. Another 30 seconds went by before Adrian Mateos called the clock. Saliba waited for the timer to reach a few seconds before calling.

Vivian Saliba: AK
Eusebiu Jalba: 1010

The two players were racing, but Jalba took a big lead on the 9410 flop with top set. The 4 turn improved him to a full house and left Saliba drawing dead by the 8 river and heading for the exit.

Lampropulos Lays It Down

Level 21 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Maria Lampropulos limped in from the button before Davidi Kitai raised to 85,000 from the small blind. Lampropulos put in the extra chips and the pair saw a flop of 629.

Kitai continued for 75,000 and Lampropulos made the call. Kitai then sized up to 225,000 on the 5 turn. Lampropulos called again and the 10 river completed the board.

Kitai now shoved, putting the 565,000 chips of Lampropulos at risk. Lampropulos went into the tank for a while, but eventually came to the conclusion that folding was in her best interests, and so she did.

She was left with just under 20 big blinds, while Kitai neared 100.

Level 21 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Eric Tsai
Eric Tsai

Eric Tsai raised to 65,000 in early position before Daniel Montagnolli three-bet to 165,000 in the hijack. Tsai called and they went heads-up to the 335 flop.

Montagnolli continued for 105,000 and Tsai then moved all in. Montagnolli tanked for a minute before calling for his last 350,000.

Daniel Montagnolli: A5
Eric Tsai: JJ

Both players had two pair, but Tsai was ahead with jacks and threes as the 3 turn improved both to a full house. The river was the K and Tsai's pocket pair stayed in front to send Montagnolli to the rail.

Samual Defends Royalty

Level 21 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Kasparas Kleyz raised to 65,000 from under the gun and the action folded to Darius Samual in the big blind, who made the call.

The A97 flop was checked by Samuel and Kleyz made a continuation-bet of 75,000. Samuel made the call and the subsequent 4 turn was checked by both.

The 5 river saw Samual bet out for 110,000, which Kleyzs immediately called.

Samual showed KK for trapped kings, but Kleyzs outflopped the cowboys with his A2 for top pair and raked in the pot.

Cintula Takes From Chidwick

Level 21 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Stephen Chidwick raised to 60,000 from under the gun and only Andrej Cintula made the call, from the small blind. Cintula then check-called Chidwick's 60,000 continuation-bet on the flop of 5J2 before both players checked on the 8 turn.

The Q river was knuckled down as well, and Cintula showed J8 for two pair. Chidwick tossed his cards into the muck and another pot was sent Cintula's way.

Sammartino Beats Duczak in Showdown

Level 21 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Darius Samual opened from under the gun and Eric Tsai defended the big blind. On the 875 flop, Tsai checked and Samual over-bet massively when he made it 575,000 to go with fewer than that behind. Tsai folded and Samual won the pot.

Dario Sammartino then beat Aaron Duczak in showdown, who bet the K9765 river for 180,000. Sammartino called with the 109 for a pair of nines and won the pot, as Duczak had bricked gutshot and flush draw with the J10.
