Cooler Sends Casaburi Out
Level 18
: Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Michele Fratini opened to 36,000 from the hijack and was called by Michele Casaburi in the cutoff.
Fratini continued for 42,000 on the K♠9♥Q♣ flop and Casaburi called.
The 8♠ fell on the turn and Fratini checked, prompting a 56,000 bet from Casaburi. Fratini then check-raised enough to put Casaburi all in for his last 150,000 and Casaburi quickly called to be put at risk.
Michele Casaburi: K♦K♣
Michele Fratini: J♥10♦
It was a slowplay gone wrong as Casaburi's set had run into the flopped straight of Fratini.
The J♦ river failed to improve Casaburi and he was sent to the rail.
