Rudolph's Pair of Kings Take the Pot

Level 4 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

With the flop showing 3K9 and a pot of around 5,400, Majid Alimoradpour checked as the first to act. Yan Shing Tsang bet 1,400, which both Christian Rudolph and Alimoradpour called.

On the 5 turn, action was checked to Rudolph, who fired out 5,600. Alimoradpour made the call, while Tsang folded.

Both players checked the 8 river, leading to a showdown. Alimoradpour revealed J9 for a pair of nines, but Rudolph turned over KJ for top pair, kings, and scooped the pot.

Prinzing's Five-Bet Gets Respect

Level 4 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Achim Prinzing opened to 1,500 from under the gun and was called by Abdulaziz Al Dosari in middle position before Armin Aghaie put in a three-bet to 6,000 from the hijack. David Dongwoo Ko then four-bet to 18,000 and action folded around to Prinzing.

Prinzing briefly considered his options before responding with a five-bet to 65,000, forcing folds from all opponents to take down a healthy pot without having to see a flop.

Rosenberg Bets Out Thiemer in Disputed Pot

Level 4 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Frederik Thiemer raised to 1,300 under the gun and Noah Rosenberg called on the button. Darius Samual in the big blind put a pink 1,000 chip on top of the one he already had in the pot. Thiemer thought Samual had raised as he put in a reraise to 10,000.

Samual, though, insisted he only meant to call and a tournament official had to be called over. It was ruled that Samual had just called and Thiemer had to take back his raise. All three players saw a flop of J65 where Thiemer bet 1,400. Rosenberg then raised to 4,000, Thiemer raised to 15,000, and Rosenberg called while Samual got out of the way.

The turn was the 5 and Thiemer slowed down and checked. Rosenberg bet 12,000 and Thiemer quickly folded.

Di Nicola Fails to Bluff Davies

Level 4 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Ermanno Di Nicola
Ermanno Di Nicola

A full board of 6J554 was showing with around 40,000 in the pot when Glenn Davies checked it over to Ermanno Di Nicola, who shoved. Davies had just over 50,000 behind and made a relatively quick call for his tournament life.

"You win," said Di Nicola.

Davies turned over AA for a pair of aces, and Di Nicola's Q10 was exposed before it went into the muck.

"I thought you eights or nines and I could make you fold," added Di Nicola.
