Wing Po Liu

There were over 20,000 chips in the pot on a board of 8Q8K when both Wing Po Liu and Dimitrios Anastasakis checked.

The river brought a 10 and Liu shoved, which gave Anastasakis a decision for his remaining stack of around 25,000. After thinking it over, Anastasakis decided to risk his tournament life.

Liu flipped J9 for a rivered straight, and Anastasakis tabled KQ for top two pair, then vacated his seat at the table.

Martinsek Tripes Up Naim For a Massive Double

Level 5 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Jan Martinsek had a bet of 16,500 in front of him from under the gun on a flop of 855 before Gal Naim raised to 45,500 in the big blind. Martinsek then moved all in for 123,100. Naim spent nearly five minutes in the tank before eventually calling.

Jan Martinsek: A5 All in
Gal Naim: 108

Martinsek was ahead with trip fives and poised for the massive double up against Naim's two pair. The 6 turn gave Naim some outs to a flush, but he missed the 9 river as Martinsek doubled up.

At another table, Rachid El Yaacoubi was all in for his last 72,000 from the cutoff against Stanislaw Miadzel on the button with the flop showing J24.

Rachid El Yaacoubi: 22 All in
Stanislaw Miadzel: J3

El Yaacoubi showed down a set of deuces and the board ran out K10 to earn him a double up.

Eusebiu Jalba
Eusebiu Jalba

There were around 15,000 chips in the pot on a board of K78K when Milos Petakovic fired a bet of 10,500, and Eusebiu Jalba called.

When the Q landed on the river, Petakovic checked it over to Jalba, who was undecided on what to do. It took around two minutes before Jalba finally decided to check it back, and was relieved that he did.

Petakovic tabled 77 for a flopped set that turned into a full house, and Jalba breathed a sigh of relief that he didn't invest any more chips into the pot on the river.

Missed Opportunities and a Bust Out

Level 5 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Vladas Tamasauskas
Vladas Tamasauskas

Perica Maric started the action with a raise to 2,200, only to face an all-in from Vladas Tamasauskas for 7,600 right next to him. Daniel Sulz then entered the fray by calling the all-in, which brought the action back to Maric. In a bold move, he four-bet to 23,200. However, Sulz responded by shoving all-in for over 150,000, leaving Maric to contemplate his next move. After a moment of hesitation, Maric reluctantly folded his pocket queens, clearly frustrated by how things unfolded.

Vladas Tamasauskas: 99
Daniel Sulz: KK

The board came down A102JK, giving Sulz a winning pair and sending Tamasauskas to the rail.

Maric, on the other hand, was left feeling frustrated about the chance he let slip away.
