Full House Sends Sammartino Packing

Level 7 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Dario Sammartino
Dario Sammartino

With about 66,200 already in the pot and the board showing 287J, Dario Sammartino checked from the big blind to Andrea Ricci, who fired a bet of 35,000. Sammartino took his time, carefully weighing his options, before deciding to call.

The river brought the J; this time, Sammartino shoved all in, putting the pressure back on Ricci. Without hesitation, Ricci snap-called. Sammartino revealed J9 for trips jacks, but Ricci had him beat with 88, turning over a full house. Ricci scooped the pot, sending Sammartino packing.

Herold's Big Slick Goes Down in Flames

Level 7 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

With two players seeing a board of AJ3J and around 70,000 in the middle, Boris Kuzmanovic checked from the big blind and Kai Herold shoved for around 100,000 from early position. Kuzmanovic did not waste any time making the call with a covering stack.

Kai Herold: AK All in
Boris Kuzmanovic: J3

Herold had aces up but was in very rough shape against Kuzmanovic's full house, needing to catch one of the two remaining aces in the deck to extend his tournament life. He found no help on the 5 river and was sent to the rail while Kuzmanovic continued adding chips to his stack.

Ziemichod Gets Value on Every Street With Ace-King

Level 7 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Adrian Ziemichod
Adrian Ziemichod

Adrian Ziemichod opened to 2,500 from middle position and Rolando Camardese made it 7,000 from the hijack. When it got back to Ziemichod, he called.

The flop came down K29 which Ziemichod checked, and Camardese bet 3,000. Ziemichod then stuck in the check-raise to 11,000, and Camardese called.

As soon as the 6 hit the turn, Ziemichod swiftly fired out a 10,000 bet, but Camardese wasted no time in snapping it off at lightning speed.

A 4 hit the river and again Ziemichod reached for chips and fired out 34,000. Camardese wasn't so quick to press the call button this time, but after some thinking, he did commit the chips.

Ziemichod then showed AK for a pair of aces with the best kicker, and Camardese smirked, then mucked.

Powers Outmatched by Alimoradpour's Flush

Level 7 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Jacob Powers limped from early position, and Daniel Rezaei raised to 5,000, picking up calls from Corrado Martinelli on the button, Majid Alimoradpour in the big blind, and Powers himself.

The J910 flop saw Alimoradpour take the lead with an 8,000 bet, which Powers called while the others folded.

Both players checked the 8 turn.

On the 6 river, Alimoradpour fired again, this time 13,000, and Power quickly called. Power revealed 87 for a straight, but Alimoradpour had 65, having flopped a flush to scoop the pot.

Ohulchanskyi Doesn't Show, Blames PokerNews

Level 7 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Yaroslav Ohulchanskyi
Yaroslav Ohulchanskyi

There were already around 55,000 chips in the pot on a flop of 6A6 when Matas Cimbolas checked it over to big-stacked Yaroslav Ohulchanskyi, who fired a small bet of 5,900. Cimbolas called.

A J on the turn saw Cimbolas check-call a bet of 20,000 from Ohulchanskyi, and they watched the 9 hit the river. Cimbolas checked again, then Ohulchanskyi shoved. Cimbolas had around 65,000 remaining in his stack and was in the tank for around five minutes before he eventually decided to fold, which preserved his tournament life.

"Show one, just one," said Cimbolas.

Ohulchanskyi looked around and said "I can't, if I show it will be on PokerNews and everybody will see what I had. If they weren't watching, I'd probably show,".

Ohulchanskyi then mucked his cards, much to the table's (and PokerNews') disappointment.

Gumz Puts a Big Dent in Dziedic's Stack

Level 7 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Fabian Gumz made it 2,500 from middle position and Florian Duta three-bet to 7,700 from the cutoff. Iakub Dziedzic then four-bet to 17,000 out of the big blind, and Gumz clicked it to 30,000. Duta folded, but Dziedzic called.

On the A65 flop, Dziedzic check-called a bet of 7,200 from Gumz and saw the 9 drop on the turn. Again, Dziedzic went into check-call mode after Gumz fired 15,500.

When the 9 hit the river, Dziedzic checked, and after a while, Gumz checked it back.

Dziedzic tabled KJ for just king-high, but Gumz had the winner after he paired his ace holding AK
